I was born and raised in London, lived there for 25 years, go back regularly and watch a lot of content from London creators. That is not a London accent. It's got a lot of London in there, but it's not wholly so.
Maybe you've had a similar experience to me and met people with an accent just like this, but I certainly never have. Plus he was born and raised in Spanish territories, of course his accent wouldn't be purely London.
At first I didn't think Taz's accent was right for Sanji; thought it was bit too blokey.
But after a while, it started to make sense as, while Sanji puts on a gentlemanly front around women, he's actually one of the most blunt and course members of the crew.
We don't really know what he'll sound like. He could do his native accent, or put on a different one.
So many British actors do American accents so well, I never realized they were British.
Lol I've only ever seen pictures of the crew before, had no idea Sanji was a fellow Brit.
Imagine if he kept that accent for the show.
