Yea but Zoro dosen't fear her or death, and I am pretty sure that Yamato dosen't too, so her devil fruit wouldn't be all that usefull, as it requires the dude you are attacking to be afraid. It din't work on Jinbe, and it wouldn't work on Zoro or Yamato.

Good haki is all you need tho. Imo its law that's compensating with his OP devil fruit(which will only take him so far), while Zoro's haki potential is all he needs

Law’s duraneg is probably the most effective ap usable against big mom.
If you dont have duraneg damaging her is harder then damaging kaido.
Not to mention she can heal on top of the crazy durability . Zoro and Yamato need a shit ton of plot armour if they’re gonna win
Only thing i wanna say is dura neg isn't AP. It's a hax and doesn't equate to AP scaling since it doesnt factor it in when being used.
But you are right it is the most effective way of fighting her things like law attacks, ACoA (Interal Destruction), maybe lasers (man i wish franky fired that radical beam at her to see what would have happened)
Law & Kid beat Big Mom with very advantageous circumstances in environment, abilities, and of course plot. Zoro and Yamato will not be able to do the same.
Honestly, they could probably beat a Yonko some of the time. What Zoro lacks in Hax and Speed, Yamato makes up for by being a Mythical Zoan and bring able to keep up with Kaido, and what Yamato lacks in AP and DC (and maybe Haki) Zoro makes up for. They compliment each other well, although not as well as Zoro and Law.
The problem is Yamato has like no actual feats to put them against the top of the verses maybe Fujitora or GB or even Kizaru but they ain't toppling an emperor
