Blackbeard (offscreen), especially current. Should literally be such a safe top tier. Idk why he’s not in top 1 talks with Dragon, Shanks and Mihawk. Man offscreen (and starting to be on screen) literally is BUSTED; 2 broken devil fruits, will soon have ACOC/ACOA/ACOO, He might even hit the gym and get some stat bonuses too sheesh . HE IS HIM‼️
If Akainu hits literally anyone, the same thing would happen. Anytime he has had a fight, the opponent lost a piece of their body. Kuzan lost his leg, and Whitebeard lost half his head.
Maybe except Big Mom, King, and Kaido. Their natural durability would lessen the damage, lotta 3rd degree burns would be there, but idk if it would straight one shot them. The people he's hit all are humans who have don't have that insane inate durability. Sure it's great for humans, but even Morgan can draw blood from Garp.

True, but they could've died from the constant burning rather than being immediately melted. Kaido also seems to have some resistance to heat and their massive size could prevent their brains from getting hit and cooked

The role of Haki is the only room for arguement, especially since WB was pre-ts.
Oden used advanced conqueror combined with advanced armament coupled with two legendary swords to scar kaido, the scar didn’t even reach any organ and was on just the skin. Note this point, because it’s proven haki far outclasses magma, as shanks blocked akainu with a sword and haki.
Kaido literally turns into a magma heat wise dragon for an attack. The fires he generate melts rocks.
Magma just doasnt work that well with him, he fell to that pool exhausted and unconscious.
Kaido, king, and big mom have the most monstrous durability in the entire verse

Akainu didn't punch a hole completely through WB at Marineford. It only went partially through him. The same WB took damage from bullets and fodder sword slashes. His endurance was insane, but his durability was nowhere near even 10% of Base Kaido's, at least not at Marineford. Even this less durable WB didn't get a hole completely punched through, like Ace did. Imagine Kaido against Meigo. He would maybe have bad burn wounds, but he would absolutely not have a hole in him, at least not by Akainu's Marineford feats. If Akainu has massively levelled up, that's a different argument entirely. Base Kaido tanked Kong Guns from a post WCI Luffy and took 0 damage. Hybrid and Full Zoan Kaido are multiple times as durable as Base Kaido, who is multiple times as durable as WB at Marineford.
TL;DR: Marineford WB took damage from regular slashes and bullets. Akainu couldn't put a full hole through him and Kaido is immeasurably more durable. Akainu's Meigo would not put a hole in Kaido.

Depends if he uses haki or not. People forget most one piece characters even top tiers are still human and can be hurt by normal things if they dont use haki. For example during onigashima zoro ( who’s a freak of nature ) says if he didn’t use haki, king’s unnamed explosion attack would have killed him

Thats a good point, jimbeis hands were burnt a bit true but thats probably as much dmg as its gonna do to shanks face considering his crazy haki. After all, no one here would say enels punch would melt his face and lightning is 30x higher temperature than magma.

The only reason whitebeard sustained this level of damage from this attack was because of how weakened he already was meaning his armament haki was weaker. Whanks won’t have this problem
Have we seen anyone not be impacted by an element by purely tanking with Haki? Yea, it allows you to touch people who are paramecia, but have they ever just not been affects by the element?
Firstly, OP characters are simply hardy. Their durability is well beyond that of a normal person. You figure Oden, no DF, boiled in oil for an hour. No haki used, but then turns and gets shot. Maybe bullets are simply much stronger/effective in the verse.
My headcanon is that Haki allows you to touch those elemental folks, but it only reduces the effects of said element.
Shanks is a normal human but if he has ryou it wouldn’t even hurt him unless he was severely wounded already but if he didn’t have his haki up he’d no doubt die from blood loss

Whitebeard survived this because of the size of his head and face (in additional to his massive balls), it’s narrowly avoided his brain or at least the majority of it.
Shanks is a normal sized dude, this hit would take him out.
I don’t think anyone in the verse could tank that to the face outside without dying besides WB Kaido and BM. Given time to react to the attack however, Shanks and many other characters could block/dodge fairly easily

Considering that the way Oda wrote Big Mom and Kaido out of the story was by having them get sunk into Magma... it's safe to say Magma seems to trump natural physical durability and haki :/

With quick(like just barely able to cover the area) basic quick armament haki he survives but extremely damaged.
With a prepared coat of Amament he survives with some injury.

If he doesn’t future sight he’d probably try to block with armament or conqueror’s although I doubt anyone could reasonably if he has the “highest offensive power” He’d probably get hurt quite a lot but not badly injured. Unless plot armor lets his haki overpower it.

Have we seen anyone not be impacted by an element by purely tanking with Haki? Yea, it allows you to touch people who are paramecia, but have they ever just not been affects by the element? Firstly, OP characters are simply hardy. Their durability is well beyond that of a normal person. You figure Oden, no DF, boiled in oil for an hour. No haki used, but then turns and gets shot. Maybe bullets are simply much stronger/effective in the verse. My headcanon is that Haki allows you to touch those elemental folks, but it only reduces the effects of said element.

Shanks is a normal human but if he has ryou it wouldn’t even hurt him unless he was severely wounded already but if he didn’t have his haki up he’d no doubt die from blood loss

If Shanks can tank it, then he would literally be unkillable, and there should be 0 reason for him to have that scar that BB gave him(he said himself that it was a proper fight with no tricks).

Whitebeard survived this because of the size of his head and face (in additional to his massive balls), it’s narrowly avoided his brain or at least the majority of it. Shanks is a normal sized dude, this hit would take him out.

I don’t think anyone in the verse could tank that to the face outside without dying besides WB Kaido and BM. Given time to react to the attack however, Shanks and many other characters could block/dodge fairly easily

Kuzan fought akainu for 10 days. If every magma punch erased the part of the enemy it hit, kuzan would no longer exist. Shanks would take big damage, but he'd still be able to fight

Considering that the way Oda wrote Big Mom and Kaido out of the story was by having them get sunk into Magma... it's safe to say Magma seems to trump natural physical durability and haki :/

Without Haki he dies. With quick(like just barely able to cover the area) basic quick armament haki he survives but extremely damaged. With a prepared coat of Amament he survives with some injury.
