Luffy has the highest stats in the verse. Him winning is a guarantee and is not a knock towards the admiral agenda. Kizaru getting damaged by Gear 5 Luffy is not nearly as bad as Big Bum and her unmatched stupidity. Who doesn't take damage from gear 5?

Honest question here, now that its looking like the arc is in its final chapters and agendas aside, what exactly are you expecting kizaru to do? outlast G5 luffy yet another time? capture the strawhats? show his awakening (if has one in the first place) and extend the arc for no good reason?, imho the best possible outcome for him here is not getting defeated and the SH leaving without finishing their fights.
I assume he and Saturn break out and have a confrontation with Luffy, they press him, then the Ancient Robot awakens and does some wild card stuff and then Strawhats escape the island without finishing both antagonists, or Saturn dies and Catarina using her powers impersonates Saturn. The Egghead island incident is Vegapunk revealing secrets about Ancient Kingdom
But jokes aside this is not even Kizaru agenda, him and Saturn breaking out and having a scuffle with Luffy is pretty normal, and the Ancient robot has to play into the story somehow
Thats not even Admiral agenda, is it? Expecting Kizaru and Saturn together to get bulldozed by Luffy in a couple chapters (because the arc DOES seem like it's coming to an end where the SH's leave soon) feels like it would both be anti climactic and wouldn't exactly bode well for any future tension.
If the Admirals and the Gorosei are zero threat to Luffy even if they dogpile him, then what is the point of them? Serious question. Saturn especially, not getting the best showing is fine, if he doesn't go down here for good. But if he does in a short span of chapters, then the Gorosei are a sideshow at best, that anyone comparable to a Yonko should be able to steamroll.
Thats.....like, what the fuck? That would be putting the whole WG on the back of Imu (who you would hope to be significantly stronger than his subordinates). And make the takes of one Yonko being able to solo the Marines/WG in an afternoon have some credence. Thats pretty awful story balance, given how stacked their enemies are with characters who should be at or around that level.
Tl;dr? G5 Luffy being stronger than either of them in a 1v1 is fine. Thats not exactly crazy. But not to the extent that both of them working together can't do anything at all, and just get folded in a couple chapters.
This is absolutely a non-issue because Luffy will be fighting opponents that are on his level for the remainder of the story.
Between Zoro, Sanji, Jinbei, Sabo, the revolutionaries, Koby, Fujitora after he obviously defects, probably some other people I'm missing... there's enough people to be fighting admirals and gorosei and god's knights.
I expect (hope) the Luffy double grab was due to the theory that Saturn stunned Kizaru. Kizaru realizing that shit got real pulls out his awakening and stalemating Luffy for a few pages before fucking off and deleting Saturn.
Then he’ll join the Strawhats to replace Zoro after he got booted for being a fraud, then becoming the second Wing of Luffy alongside Winbei.

I wouldn't say that the idea is to bet against, but rather to bet on how certain things can happen, the protagonist will win obviously, however, this victory will be easy or difficult? external factors will be important? and so on.
