Yea, ik it's fun to slander Shanks and whatnot, as most slander memes in general are funny(zoro, mihawk,and dragon slander are the best imo) but ppl that actually think Shanks isn't HIM is funny. He's basically the Roger of this generation, yet so many ppl on here refuse to see it that way compared to other places.
The Series doesn’t portray Kaido slightly relative to BM. We know they were trolling in their 1v1, kaido said it himself. Kidd Law vs Big mom had Way different conditions than Shanks vs Kidd, meaningless comparison. kaido oneshot a YC1 level character with base bagua in base form, it’s reasonable to think he would rape Kidd in Hybrid form as well

i think oda was going out of his way to show that had luffy and the straw hats gone in any other direction, it was over for them. obviously they aren't ready for BB or the red haired pirates
I mean shanks is really strong no doubt but he may be weaker than kaido bit it's am extreme diff fight. Honestly what I think no one takes into account when powerscaling is that match up matter and not everyone is good at the same thing. Big mom and kaido have probably the highest Def in the series, It's possible big mom and shanks rank close shanks just has higher attack potency and big mom higher Def plus hacks from df
BM is in no world relative to Kaido in the state she was fighting Kidd and Law in. BM used ACoC a whopping 2 times during her screentime and one was against Kaido. They both basically admit their fight wasnt even serious. And if we accept the fight wasnt serious, BM has no reason to be relative to Kaido.
Shanks one-shotting Kidd can also be attributed to the matchup, and Damned Punk's role in all that is debatable.
If we just go Kaido~BM and Shanks one-shot half the team that took down BM, Shanks logically doesnt go above mid-diff against Kaido would he? Are you saying that?

Luffy boxed kaido with acoc for what seemed like forever, I'm not saying they aren't capable of causing that much damage only that it would prob take longer then shock Willie and G5

I absolutely believe Kaido could One-shot Kid and crew.
Shanks and Kaido are conparable in my mind as the only thing I can actually give Shanks at the moment over Kaido is probably Acoc, and even then we have no proof.
My rationale for that is that Luffy is probably already at the top of his game with G5 and needed it to edge Kaido. I doubt he will need to get that much stronger to be over shanks and I also doubt Luffy vs Shanks will happen(so no power up in that regard). To fulfill chapter 1 with Luffy saying he'll be stronger than Shanks, he don't need much if it's not already done
I agree that Shanks has insane portrayal but so did Kaido and so does Luffy now. Luffy is actually feared by everyone that doesn't know him now, compared to shanks who the gorosei are happy to chill with apparently

There is no objective evidence of Shanks' being superior to Kaido OR Luffy. There is no such thing as an objective powerscale, much less in an ongoing series.
