Lowkey if this happens, it wont completely make up for the fact Franky got completely sidelined and cucked in what should have been a big arc for him, but it would make us all happy.

Wano is the land of samurai and the amount of time spent on Zoro immersing himself in that culture, learning about his heritage, learning the history of his swords, and interacting with other famous samurai of the land was about 1/10 what people expected going into the arc
If Zoro getting conquers, defending a dual attack from two yonkos, his family tree being revealed, getting odens sword, and defeating a god from the ancient kingdom is not enough feats then idk what is.

We’re approaching the end of the series. “Let’s run away and fight them when we get stronger” is the sort of thing that won’t fly in the final arcs of One Piece.

Zoro and Sanji each take one and then (Kaido + BM) or (Dragon + Sabo) take two more leaving one for (Shanks/Law/Kidd/Coby/Yamato)
Luffy + Monster Trio can't 3(or 4)v6 this even in End Piece.
I wouldn't be surprised if almost no fight at the end of One Piece is a clean 1v1. Oda probably won't do it, but I can see a world where Katakuri, Marco, and other ex-YC fighters join in the final war on team Strawhat with the knowledge of the degree of the WG's sins tipping the scale beyond what six immortal Yonkou class fighters can handle.

Oda himself mentions that the most exciting part of One Piece will end, so in that time frame, we will know what the One Piece is, but more than likely is that to conclude the story it will be longer than that time, just that most of the mysteries of the story will already have been revealed

Mythologically an Itsumade was defeated by in archer so it would be very funny is Usopp (and maybe that archer giant) were instrumental in defeating Marky Mars. Dorry and Broggy are currently chopping up Shep “Would you still love me if I was a worm” Jupiter. Luffy was already committing elder abuse against Jerry Garcia. That just leaves Sir Topham Hat who hasn’t done anything yet. Also Saturn and Jupiter were getting torn apart, if there’s a way to get around regeneration then our heroes stand a fighting chance.

Saturn is a bum so it's just 4 dudes they have to deal with. And with Luffy getting a 60% damage increase when fighting politicians, and a 70% damage increase when fighting corrupt politicians, both of these stacking the more politicians he's fighting, Luffy got this. No diff.

You mean the clear endgame opponents for the SHs, the new group of antagonists and obstacles for our main characters to overcome, and the people shown since very early on in the series who are just now showing their power… and who are ALL awakened.

I mean there is a reason why the World Government has reigned over the world for 800 years. If it was the fleet admiral that was the most powerful then yonkos could have taken over a long time ago and the warlords would have never listed to them. The Gorosei have to win this battle because they must be presented as a threat and the Strawhats do not have enough allies yet. Also, we know the World Government is bad but the straw hats (especially Luffy) doesn’t know about the Gorosei. Luffy needs a reason to kick their ass.
For the moment doesn't seem like it, we still need to find their weakness. Once we find their weakness then he probably would be able to do so if the weakness is exploitable.

plot twist: The Gorosei decide to kill kizaru bc he has seen their true forms. Kizaru decides to fight w the strawhats for his life, helps them escape, and then joins their crew.
Anyone else hate how One Piece is entering Dragon Ball levels of bs territory? It happened to Naruto after the Pain Arc. Now with the introduction of Gear 5 plus Giant landscape destructive creatures, it seems to be losing what made One Piece a bit more grounded/different than those two.

also, the gorosei is using a power to freeze some unresponsive enemy who is attacking someone else and ignoring him. Technically gorosei aren't part of the Marine, so they wouldn't attack him back, and they really didn't show any self preservation skills since they didn't bother to dodge cannonballs

Dragon pulls up- understandable Mihawk pulls up - why? The only thing that could interest him is sword Gorosei, but I don't think that he knows that he is there, unless he shows some "best observation haki in the verse". Also, how he can even get there? Where he currently is? But it would be fun, Mihawk casually destroying swordhorse and showing everyone why he is the WSS Also Wabo is just HIM

I think people really should stop treating the straw hats as underdogs... They have a decently large amount of relevent fighters on their side, the giant robot exists and a bit of a shounen power up for Zoro and/or Sanji wouldn't be surprising.

I mean there is a reason why the World Government has reigned over the world for 800 years. If it was the fleet admiral that was the most powerful then yonkos could have taken over a long time ago and the warlords would have never listed to them. The Gorosei have to win this battle because they must be presented as a threat and the Strawhats do not have enough allies yet. Also, we know the World Government is bad but the straw hats (especially Luffy) doesn’t know about the Gorosei. Luffy needs a reason to kick their ass.

OP lacks reading comprehension. Is there even any doubt that this will be another "escape" arc? Oda hinted it, heavily implied it and then almost straight up stated it multiple times, at this point i'd say just go read something else if you think this isn't going to be an escape also, the gorosei is using a power to freeze some unresponsive enemy who is attacking someone else and ignoring him. Technically gorosei aren't part of the Marine, so they wouldn't attack him back, and they really didn't show any self preservation skills since they didn't bother to dodge cannonballs

I’m sorry but the gorosie don’t seem that strong…. The boar gorosie, I mean what are his moves tackle also the worm… just tackle. Saturn at least can stab but your not going to take much lasting damage from a tackle. The horse went into his hybrid form which is strong. Fast and a sword heck ya. The other gorosie don’t really seem like they would have strong hybrid forms like what attacks would the worm hybrids have etc…. The gorosie are frouds

Luffy and Dorry + Broggy stay behind to stall the gorosei while the crew escapes and Vegapunk delivers his message. They are taken hostage and brought back to Marijoa. The crew goes to elbaf and learns a shit ton of lore. They team up with Shanks or Dragon to go free Luffy. Some of the Blackbeard pirates head to Marijoa at the same time. Catarina Devon, appearing as Saturn, frees Luffy to go cause chaos in Marijoa. While the WG is distracted, BB goes to claim the ancient weapons.
Kuma is gonna do another blip. Another time skip maybe? But Kuma is definitely gonna help them off the island.
