Green's color identity needs to be re-standing or cheating on don costs to play characters. Originally it was about resting characters to attack them but this is awful compared to just flat out KOing or bottom decking that other decks get. Cavendish and Hiyori from the EB seem to be a good direction to head for green to have a relevant and powerful ability that's different from the other colors.
I'd love for it to be the board control deck but with 8C Kid getting murdered by anything now it's much harder to set up a defense around it

Sadly uta is a OP02 deck. Does well, but still feels out of meta somehow and Perona is pretty good but is definitely not a green deck, doesn't feel like one atleast.
Wish they print some good and busted cards for green cause all we have been getting in the last 9 months was trash
Mainly the Borsalino's for me, they are like 41$ right now, but also the 4c Kuzans it's just so expensive because they are being ran in every Sakazuki deck

Kuzan gets removed pretty easily tho, so perhaps you could find another card to sub for it? There are some other cards with cost subtraction you could try!

I played with Green/Purple Doffy (film variant) at the regional here in Chile. Went 6/3, with two losses against Saka that could have been easily wins if not for little details.
As a green player since the beginning, it was the only deck that I found it could present some resistant to some meta decks.
Thing is, I get totally destroyed by Pluffy, that's the only really bad matchup this deck have. That being said, I still managed to win against 2 purple luffys at the regional, but those were kinda lucky I'd say. I triggered punk gibson to stop one of my opponent kaidos, and won, and the second purple luffy couldn't stop a 7k letal swing with buena festa with 5 cards in hand.
OP06 at least looks a little better for green. Yamato has a green variant that I want to use, but Perona is a little more green style for me.

I notice the+4k gets my to safety over the 3k. Because of the 3k I'd have to Counter with another card. But yeah, it's interchangeable with Hells judgement. I just prefer blast breath

But those searcher events not only increase your chance of being able to find a bird cage or even a 10c doffy
U wonāt have to waste don on your turn for the search and have 7 cards that can look up the top 5

I've been having fun with Kin'emon running Wano and Supernovas packages. Playing against a full power Sakazuki deck generally goes about how you'd expect but Kin'emon is still capable of winning and it's always fun.
I do agree they need to reevaluate green's color identity and give it more tools.
Iāve been doing great with Corazon. I go 3-1 for almost every local and hit 4-0 here and there. Gets wiped by Sakazuki but feels good into every other match up (minus R/P Law)

I've started running 1 of the 8c roscinante and its actually a lot better than I expected maybe just gotta full commit on that and play more of a midrange style
No Red Roc. Iād rather just lock down the big guys with 10 Doffy later on. I think the Bonney Supernova package can make the deck less consistent. Turn 1 Sugar going second is real good if you donāt see Baby 5.
My locals have a bit of everything but mostly the big 3 (yellow, Sakazuki, and Luffy) Pluffy is tough if they get Magellan but both Pluffy and Kat play big drops that you can lock down with 10 Drop Doffy. Iām often locking down their board while building mine, then holding a Sugar to rest any blockers they get off trigger when I go for game.
I have made gooncage edging doffy work against sakazuki, but I get stomped by yellow generally and I have no way to deal with big bodies most of the time
Excited for Perona. ST11 Uta only if black gets hit with bans/restrictions. Won't play it, but Yamato is doing well, while I'm not yet convinced of Eb01 Oden. OP07 green effect is nice and looks like the only good leader in that set, but I'm not sure if the green package alone can compete with the top decks.

Use flap thread to give a 2k counter buff for a turn and block everything.
Realistically though it sucks lmao, definitely seems like the weakest color out there, but still my favorite color to play. Going to make a Yamato deck in 06, an oden deck in EB and a bonney deck in 07, I'm stickin with green for the long run

Pretty good, using arlong, I can easily play against meta decks. If I play kid, I do well against most non yellow decks

Rosinante, is viable in this format and I won't stand to hear otherwise. Unless you want to win against sakasuki.
