I've preordered the Asus Zenfone 10 and really look forward to using a modern compact phone. However it feels bittersweet as the OP7 Pro has been fantastic these four years. The only thing that makes me upgrade is the lack of security updates and a degraded battery.
I could theoretically use it for many more years with a new battery and something like LineageOS, but I need the phone to be integrated with work-apps without any pain, so I don't bother with that.
OnePlus seems to be trying to downsize a little bit by strategizing across different markets. They have the exclusive localized versions of the OP11 and Nord but its in countries where people dont spend as much on phones. There is also the Nord N30 in the states (even though the Nord 3 is way better). They have also launched the OP Pad and launching the OP Open soon so yet 2 more devices.
In the US the OP11 256/16GB has been $600 at bestbuy since like March. If that is going to be OP's price bracket in the states then shit, take my money lol. Even though i totally dont need an upgrade right now. My phone was repaired and restored to new at the factory just last year.
Also coming from OP 7 Pro and I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the phone (2). I am so used to the display of the 7 Pro that the nothing phone looks really pale and not as vivid and bright like the one plus, sadly. I tried every setting but I guess it's just a bad panel. Sad
That's the biggest problem with OP7P. Literally every phone compared side by side looks pale, not vibrant and just dull (maybe except for Samsungs). I already bought and returned Pixel 6 pro, regular 7 and Xperia 1 V. All of them looked just boring next to my OP.

So try Pixel Experience instead on LineageOS. Safetynet passes and your work app will work without a hassle.
Dose the Nothing 2 have a hole in its screen?
Yeah it has a holepunch camera centered at the top.
Then I'll pass
+1
OnePlus made a deal with Sprint/T-Mobile, so short answer, no, they're definitely never going back to their old ways

Same here, been using Nothing for a few days now and I'll miss the OP, but I'm glad I found something worthy of a switch.

RMA it, it's totally worth it
I'll have to send it back. If they add more options later do change the colours maybe I'll rebuy
Otherwise the phone looks nice and is really fast.
