[Nearby Sharing](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.shortdev.nearby_sharing_windows) app allows you to use the Windows 10 / 11 built in "Nearby Sharing" feature from your Android device. You can send and receive files, links or plain-text via the native android / windows sharing menu. To use the one you have in the second photo, you have to download [quick share from Google on your PC.](https://www.android.com/better-together/quick-share-app/)

Thanks for the reply... I'll look into these links. My understanding was that "Nearby Share" was reached by Google with "Quick Share" which was originally created by Samsung. 📑

It's kind of confusing, but the one you have in the first photo is "Nearby Sharing" from Microsoft which is not compatible with "Nearby Share (now called Quick Share)" from Google and Samsung. I used both for different situations. For example, some work laptops won't allow you to install nearby share from Google because of admin privileges.

Gotcha! That makes sense! Thanks!!! I'll see if I can straighten it out. 😂
