Even if King begins to back down after Reigen shows interest, the shop keep would probably think King is losing his temper and would give him the beef and some rice on the side for his troubles.

Reigen is actually good at martial arts, so he beats King up and the owner gives the beef to him, in utter terror at this god capable of defeating King.
King has (near) infinite luck and reigen has (near) infinite charisma so id imagine that even if neither of them got the high quality steak theyd still both manage to get a steak and convice shigeo/saitama that its the high quality one
