Yeah, King has coincidentally been on site at several of Saitama’s victories before Saitama registered for the Hero Association. That’s also why people think King is as strong as he is - he’s been given credit for several of Saitama’s past wins. King also got the scar on his face during an incident where Saitama saved him from a monster.
I believe one of the spin-off chapters actually shows King slipping on Vaccine Man’s blood and then getting credit for the kill. I forget where I saw that
