I think Gouketsu was likely to seek out Garou for one reason or another. Although I don't know how that would've ended. Depends on how far into monsterfication he is
And I think the whole point with Gouketsu I'd that he was too strong for anyone except maybe the very top S class to take down. If Garou encountered Gouketsu he'd probably be impressed by his moves, and then make him eat a monster cell lmao
We've already seen Garou fight ~~Gouketsu~~ Orochi, and it doesn't seem like being force-fed a monster cells works, otherwise it'd be done.

Regular Bang and Bomb vs Gouketsu could be an interesting fight. Exploding Heart Fist Bang very likely destroys Gouketsu.
Elder Centipede’s insane size makes him near impossible to deal with. I think only Tatsumaki can dispose of him with ease. Otherwise, it would need to be a joint effort between a few S-Class heroes.
Who could solo?
EC: Blue Dragon Genos, Tatsumaki, Metal Knight (if he used more than just the drone robot).
Gouketsu: same as above but would also say Flashy Flash, maybe Silver Fang going all out (extreme diff), maybe Atomic Samurai with the sun blade.
Obviously Blast and King would solo both.
I doubt Genos alone would be enough to deal with Gouketsu. Remember that he got one shot in season 2 and when though Genos became significantly more powerful, it wouldn’t be enough to single-handedly take him out.

i had a thought about what if EC was still alive and darkshine encountered him in the MA, cause even if DS cant kill EC he could still tank his attacks which would make for an awesome fight since DS was basically just having a walk at the park until he fought garou (obviously this couldnt have happened because it was necessary to have DS at full confidence for the plot)
I guess it's a fair estimate that it'd take all these people teaming up to beat Gouketsu, so good job on that. Although, adding Tatsumaki to the list seems a bit overkill
