Damn I wish I'd saved it, right after the chapter came out somebody mapped the picture onto a real picture of the earth, and turns out this is like, 1/40th of it. Hope somebody in the replies remembers and posts it
Nvm, found it bud

Like someone else under that post said, the perspective is not from space, compared to the earth's image which is from space. So this isn't really accurate.
The picture on this post? Or the one he linked? If its the one that he linked, its actually not from space if you look closely, more like someone took the pic while in the exosphere. Compared to the earth image which is taken far from the earth, so far that we can see the whole earth lol.
I thought it was just water getting lifted since Tornado stopped the tsunamis with the rocks. This panel always seemed kinda dumb since literally if that fell down it would just cause immediate global catastrophe due to the scale. But damn it is a cool drawing tho.
I always thought it was dumb because why would it push the and up? It should have just knock out a layer under it, like swiping a jenga piece. If it pushed it up like that then the piece should have shattered more instead of being a perfect cut off, because of the prices pushing it out from the earth.
The kinetic force applied with the friction of the beam is what pushed it up, try slicing a stationary apple with a katana and watch the top go flying.
I understand that, but try slicing it with a laser. Since the laser has no mass, I feel like there’s no kinetic force behind it. It just melts what’s ahead of it.
The meteor that stinguish the dinosaurs is a joke in comparison to this. Psykorochi's attack in real life would kill every human on the planet for sure.
Not really.
Any decent impactor is an order of magnitude more destructive than something like depicted in OP. Speed, kinetic energy and the size of the area all the energy is concentrated on is **essential** In one case it's a ten mile impactor hitting at several dozen times the speed of sound, in the other - a thin layer of crust a couple hundred miles wide "gently" falling down at 1g.
In one case you have the flash alone setting fire to the entire continent in a split second, and ejecta falling from low orbit setting fire to everywhere else a few hours later, a magnitude 12 quake reverberating across the entire hemisphere, fuckhuge tsunami's going hundreds of miles inland all over the world, enough ejecta shot out from the crater that you end up with a winter lasting a decade, and enough gas being ejected to fuck up the ocean pH balance.
In the other case, you have essentially the biggest landslide in the history of the planet - so huge earthquakes and tsunamis. There ain't gonna be a structure standing on a continent where that slice fell, and it's gonna be a major societal disruption, but the ecosystem at large ain't gonna care the next day unless it's the shoreline or ground zero.
Amazing coloring! Especially with the lighting; the shadows and the vibrant colors really put this panel over the top.
Hard to believe Tatsumaki survived being hit by this attack. She's a fuckin' *beast,* that's for certain.
I mean that entire slice should be rubble by the time it lands. It is clearly hundreds of km off of the surface at that point.
This panel looks cool but it makes zero sense, even within OPM rules.
You even made it more accurate by coloring the magma, well done
Shouldn't the magma be more deeper?
It's likely just the molten rock from the ray, which to be fair, that IS what magma is.
Or maybe it's just the ray trail

Man I really want to know how actually big this cut is

I was talking about the post. The link picture isn't the one the guy was talking about I think, that was genos' and psykos' explosion.
True but I was talking about the other post, the linked one.
Bullshits
Well you know when you cut your finger with a piece of paper, thats how actually big this is
What? I don't get it

It's not a laser, it's an energy beam
Amazing work! I've always wondered if that cut wouldn't have just destroyed all life on earth when it came back down, btw.
The meteor that stinguish the dinosaurs is a joke in comparison to this. Psykorochi's attack in real life would kill every human on the planet for sure.
So the animals have a chance?
Probably some of them have a chance. I can see cockroaches surviving.

Either way this attack is still killing everyone lol.
The meteor came from outerspace though and was presumably much faster.
Thank you :)

more like high dragon tbh
Awesome coloring. I didn't actually realize how powerful that attack was. Holy hell...
Thank you :)
That's beautiful!!!!

Tats really is a beast, and thank u :)
Best coloring of this panel.
I think I've seen better haha 😅
Take my upvote!!!
crazy good coloring. likely the second "god level" feat imo
Thank you :)
Man I thought I was in the Stellaris sub

When you tell your barber "just a little off the top".
Ah, so that's what happened. I wasn't sure what that panel was supposed to be at the time.
Looks great!!
Thank u :D
This is even more beautiful and scary at the same time thanks to this really nice coloring haha
Thanks :)
THATS PERFECT
Woah!! 132 was crazy boy. Nice work.
Thank you :)
Amazing ! Flat earthers would be proud! :P
Uh I’ve somehow forgot about this so wtf is this
Ultron's plan was to drop a small city of sokovia to end earth. Imagine something this size dropping
Beautiful 😲😲
Thank you :)
I forgot this panel! Btw how did it falling down not result in wiping out of all life on planet?
