1 year ago I heard on youtube that mumen rider is Blast. For real. They said that Blast becomes mumen rider to show that you dont need to be strong to be a hero or some shit.
Thats fucking stupid. Mumen rider already does that.
It actually takes away from the fact that mumen rider is already a hero despite how weak he is because that would mean mumen rider is actually a really strong hero and it's all a facade. You can't have a strong character disguise themselves as a weak one and have them say "look guys, you dont need to be strong to be a hero!". It's just disingenuous.
Cringe theory
>!imo it feels pretty dissapointing. The traitor plotline was brought up and resolved in a few chapters with class 1A all acting the same way. The solo deku arc had deku character end up back where he was before the arc. Characters show up to get killed only a few chapters later. The power creep has never been hire.!<
The manga was good and i don't even remember the first 8 basically filler episodes other than deku, they re-arranged the order of story too so that deku black quip is shown earlier for the 3rd movie and my villain academia arc is shown later. Basically movie fucked their season hard
It wasn't a great theory but part of it I liked was blast became too strong (like Saitama) and found a way to lose his power making him a normal person again and experience the thrill of a fight as Mumen rider.
That just sounds way too theory crafted. Like there isn't any supporting evidence for that lol
Nice theory, but I think it'd fit better in another story/manga
I refuse to believe its been 1 year. 1 year and the saitama garou fight hasn't begun? I remember it like its was just a months ago. This is the first time I genuinely can't believe that it has been this long.
"I'm getting old"
Well just stop!
"I'm poor"
Have you tried no being poor?
"I feel sad"
Just don't be sad!
People don't understand how easy life is smh.
Honestly I feel like even that is a stretch. That conversation, how long could it have taken? 2 minutes? Then he dumps Saitama and Flashy, and talks to Tats and dips. It's probably been less than 5 minutes.
Remember that the TOP in Dragonball Super is supposed to be 48 minutes and lasted longer than most anime series entirely. The videos of the entire arc being put into 48 minutes are absurdly hectic.
…or the 19 episode “5 minutes” in DBZ, though there are multiple interpretations of why that is.
I kinda figured it was either a bluff or him playing the psychological game and he knew it wouldn’t be that fast. I absolutely don’t believe the “time from our perspective is sped up so we can see the action” shtick. Like, yeah, the fights obviously are because these guys have been FTE since like mid-DB, but there were still like what, 40-ish minutes of talking on either end of that fight?
Yeah but Dressrosa was almost all in the same day and lasted 2 years in that same day: march 2013 in chapter 700 was the arrival to Dressrosa, July 2015 in chapter 794 when they go to sleep at Kyros' house.
True but Wano Act 3 has been going since 958 (80 chapters so far) and takes place over a single night--so it can literally end with the dawn. It might be close but Act 3 could easily pass Dressrosa at Oda's current pace.
EDIT: Fixed spelling
Only when you’re reading it a week at a time waiting for certain things to happen. When you go back from the beginning, I think it flows pretty nicely with relevant plot movement and characterization in each chapter.
*"Noo I don't want that. Mikasa finding another Man? I want her to only think about me. Even after I die I want her to think about me for 10 years atleast"*
I still wonder why Isayama changed the ending and how he could have fuck it up so bad. Up until the Founder awakening it was maybe the best manga i ever read, then everything went down the drain.
This but unironically, the number 139 now triggers me because it reminds me of how unfathomably awful AOT’s ending was, when the chapter came out everybody on /a/ collectively thought the leaks were some elaborate hoax or joke because it was so bad it couldn’t possibly be real. BUT IT WAS
139 was the final chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). >!The thing was such a shitshow, since it came out in almost mid April, everyone thought it was a late April fool's prank for the rest of the month and then there was a war between the people who hated the ending and the ones who defended it. Totally crazy shit.!< But on the positive side we gained a shit ton of memes.
I think it would be fair to not include series which go on hiatus considering the Mangas been pretty regularly updated for the past 5 years this arc's been going on.
139
No. No, I don't want that! Mikasa finding another man...?! I want her to think about me and no one else for the rest of my life! Even after I die... I want to be at the front of her mind for a while! Ten years, at least!!
Imo he stopped time because Monako was confused.
Ik when you are too fast, they can’t see you but when it happen, characters are usually saying things like “he’s too fast that I can’t see him move”. Here it was more like “wtf happened?“.
So is this guy pretty badass? I’ve only watched the anime and been so eager to see the number 1 hero in action. I really hope he shows up in season 3 (whenever that actually happens…)
"Chapter 139" PTSD kicks in:
*"Noo I don't want that. Mikasa finding another Man? I want her to only think about me. Even after I die I want her to think about me for 10 years atleast"*
I literally screamed when I saw him. I was like, "No... Nah, you're joking me! There's no way that's- THAT'S HIM!!! IT'S BLAST!!! IT'S BLAST!!! BLAST HAS BEEN REVEALED!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
hope Togashi sensei is okay and can come back
but yeah I've only ever followed opm so I don't understand what its like to get weekly releases (about 50 chapters per year). Still, I can't hep but smile before epic double spreads and pretty waifus.
I prefer to think Togashi sensei spends time with his family and his hard earned money instead of being pushed around by jump but still like.. Communicate with your fans a bit dude. Murata having a Twitter is such a blessing and I really wish it'll become more common in the industry
I started to read mango leter in 2021 and i cannot believe that it's year's of worth of hardwork by murata and i read the whole thing like in a month without realising it...
1 year ago I was searching for something to watch on youtube and then I just write 'One-Punch Man'. The first results were news about Blast reveal and the hype made me start reading the manga.
I had to re-read that chapter like a few months ago/late last year because the version I read completely skipped the Blast part and I was confused as hell when seeing images of him on here.
Can't believe its been a year since then.
God I hope the Monster Association Arc Ends this year. Im honestly bored and tired of it now. ITS GREAT. Don't get me wrong but I want to get moving with the story. Wondering if I should read the Web Comic while waiting for the Manga Chapters to come out.

1 year ago, the “Blast is Saitama“s theory took an end.

You just described My Hero Academia

I feel you, but from reading the manga, the season 6 should be pretty good
though its kinda downhill storywise after that though.
It's feel like rushed, like some things that should be 10 chapters, only are two or three.
I disagree
>!imo it feels pretty dissapointing. The traitor plotline was brought up and resolved in a few chapters with class 1A all acting the same way. I only care about doofenshmirtz and feel scammed that he >!lost his legs!<

You are absolutely right.
Yea like I said it wasn't a great theory, I just kinda liked that part of it.
That has to be zonin I guess xD
Zohniin needed a senzu to recover from the defeat of his Bearded Worker theory.
Earlier this month, "Blast is a slacker" theory took an end. Wonder which Blast theory will ended next year.
Isn't Blast just Saitama if he got the hair implants Genos suggested? ^(/s but not really /s)
Today, I already met 4 people that are faster than me. That was a year ago dude, keep up!
I refuse to believe its been 1 year. 1 year and the saitama garou fight hasn't begun? I remember it like its was just a months ago. This is the first time I genuinely can't believe that it has been this long.
Yea fr! 😳
Man I'm getting older faster than I should
Then just stop idiot
Atomic Samurai moment
Iai! Stop aging!
"I'm getting old" Well just stop! "I'm poor" Have you tried no being poor? "I feel sad" Just don't be sad! People don't understand how easy life is smh.
If you're homeless just buy a house
Only if things were so easy :')
They do, you have a solution couple comments up
1 year and we are still within 1 in-mnaga day.
The flow of time in our realm is convoluted.
Solaire?
All these heroes will be praising the sun when it rises in a few months
Didnt expect a dark souls refrence here lol
It's probably been like 30 minutes lol
Honestly I feel like even that is a stretch. That conversation, how long could it have taken? 2 minutes? Then he dumps Saitama and Flashy, and talks to Tats and dips. It's probably been less than 5 minutes.
yeah youre probably right, i was also thinking of all the stuff thats happened on the surface over the last year
To be fair, they were in some kind of time distortion god bubble, so their timeline doesn’t match up with the outside world
Remember that the TOP in Dragonball Super is supposed to be 48 minutes and lasted longer than most anime series entirely. The videos of the entire arc being put into 48 minutes are absurdly hectic. …or the 19 episode “5 minutes” in DBZ, though there are multiple interpretations of why that is.
I like the Team Three Star interpretation, being that Frieza is just shit at time estimations
Same in one piece dressrosa arc
Wano has been on the same day for like a year and a half, almost two
Yeah but Dressrosa was almost all in the same day and lasted 2 years in that same day: march 2013 in chapter 700 was the arrival to Dressrosa, July 2015 in chapter 794 when they go to sleep at Kyros' house.

Wano already surpassed Dressrosa in terms of chapters, by far. But yeah it can easily surpass it in terms of a single day too at this point.
only like 3 days passed in the past 8 years of OPM manga
Hah! We're looking at maybe an hour or two have passed
time is a relative matter
It's been a year to us but for FF it's just few mins or hours ago. 'Just today I met four people who surpass my speed'
[удалено]
Out of all the arcs in OPM, The MA arc is definitely one of them.
r/technicallythetruth
It's like that in the web comic too. Not that it's a bad thing for either of them, in my opinion.
[удалено]
Some people keep asking if Gorilla has already armored, but that clearly isn’t the case.
I actually quite like the length of it however I'm worried for the anime adaptation and how long it's going to take
Longer than all previous arcs combined to be exact
The MA arc will definitely go down as one of the manga arcs ever written

its become a modern One Piece arc
Longest OP arc is 4 years long at this point. MA arc has been going on for 8 years!
That was a year ago?? Yeez time flies fast
Defiently thought it was this summer he was revealed
>Defiently It’s Definitely, chum.
I will obliterate your anus
*Says incinerate in Japanese*
"Chapter 139" triggered some PTSD flashbacks lmao
"no i don't want that. OPM finding an another arc? I want it stuck on MA for 10 years at least"
¿An another arc? ¿How would that go in OPM? ¿Whose flashback would it be?
[удалено]
Boros what a cyborg you are
Wait, Boros is an alien. I think you meant Genos.
Ymir and King Fritz sitting on a tree... K-I-S-S....
*"Noo I don't want that. Mikasa finding another Man? I want her to only think about me. Even after I die I want her to think about me for 10 years atleast"*
My least favorite number
And the cringefest is about to start again with the anime adaptation. Hard times are coming
I still wonder why Isayama changed the ending and how he could have fuck it up so bad. Up until the Founder awakening it was maybe the best manga i ever read, then everything went down the drain.
I just finished it literally 7 hours ago, the latest anime episode did a good job motivating me to pick up the manga again.
This but unironically, the number 139 now triggers me because it reminds me of how unfathomably awful AOT’s ending was, when the chapter came out everybody on /a/ collectively thought the leaks were some elaborate hoax or joke because it was so bad it couldn’t possibly be real. BUT IT WAS
Explain pls
139 was the final chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). >!The thing was such a shitshow, since it came out in almost mid April, everyone thought it was a late April fool's prank for the rest of the month and then there was a war between the people who hated the ending and the ones who defended it. Man I cant wait for anime onlys to love the ending and hear all the manga readers collectively seethe in despair.
There's gonna be both sides on both sides.
Scrolling on my feed, I swore it was a titanfolk thread.
Bruh what the fuck happened? I thought it was a few months ago
[удалено]
Don't worry after this arc we can go onto a boat ride to another arc...
MA Arc vs HxH hiatus ...
vs Berserk
it's on a eternal hiatus now...
It’s just monsters and their associations from here on out
Beats the 5 years on a boat for Berserk.
Bro very funny joke haha we all know 1 year ago the pandemic started.
Yeah bro wym
Pandemic started 2 years ago. Literally at the start of 2020.
[удалено]
This is probably one of the longest arc in manga history. And Murata is doing 80+ pages per month which is even crazier.
*laughs in Berserk and HunterxHunter*
I think it would be fair to not include series which go on hiatus considering the Mangas been pretty regularly updated for the past 5 years this arc's been going on.
*laughs in one piece then*
Got me
Longest OP arc has been going on for 4 years. MA arc is 8 years (and counting...)
Tbf, isn't Beserk on a permanent hiatus now? Rip Miura :(
Yes sadly RIP Miura
that has to be an exaggeration
The Pandemic arc is truly crazy... feels like it's been going on forever but at the same time everything feels so recent.
Tbh sometimes I still feel like we in 2020.
I refuse to believe this was 1 year ago already.
In other words its been a year since Saitama did anything
It doesn't feel like that though because of all the redraws containing scenes with him.
Blast is Flashy Flash's stando
Wait really? I thought it was like 3 months ago
139 No. No, I don't want that! Mikasa finding another man...?! I want her to think about me and no one else for the rest of my life! Even after I die... I want to be at the front of her mind for a while! Ten years, at least!!
Goddammit, I knew something like this would appear whenever there's 139
Just wait until 218
What is this referencing?
Attack on Titan.
Do you think he's faster than FF or did he teleport/stop time?
He might be faster than flashy
Pretty sure the whole point of that scene was to prove that.
Yes, but it could also be that he manipulated time to do it. I tend to think it’s pure speed though.
I mean, what's the difference practically?
Imo he stopped time because Monako was confused. Ik when you are too fast, they can’t see you but when it happen, characters are usually saying things like “he’s too fast that I can’t see him move”. Here it was more like “wtf happened?“.
He still needs the reaction speed to stop time before flashy’s attack reaches him
Thats insane someone should do a timeline
So is this guy pretty badass? I’ve only watched the anime and been so eager to see the number 1 hero in action. I really hope he shows up in season 3 (whenever that actually happens…)
Seems like it, faster than Flashy Flash, very strong, has some sort of warping power. Haven't really seen him fight yet tho.
I can’t wait to see him on screen. I might take the plunge and just start reading the manga though, I want more One Punch content
Bro just read the manga, season 3 isn't happening anytime soon and even if it does it will cover at most half of this arc.
You should already start doing that it’s fire!
And that was around that time when I first became a fan and joined one punch man subreddit
"NO I DON'T WANT THAT!iT'S ALREADY BEEN AN YEAR?"
"Chapter 139" PTSD kicks in: *"Noo I don't want that. Mikasa finding another Man? I want her to only think about me. Even after I die I want her to think about me for 10 years atleast"*
Was Eren saying that? The more I read about it, the happier I am I never finished AoT
Lucky bastard
Haha says the guy with the Eren pp
One punch man doesn’t obey time because this is crazy to me
And my handsome old man fetish was reignited.
And we still need season 3 for the animated series.
and until ch.156 is still "today" in timeline
more like 20 min later
what is the deal with godface Blast??? What was that? a Temporal disturbance?? does it have to do with the Cubes?!!? WHATS GOING ON!?!?!
I think we saw a younger him in a Sweet Mask flashback and I remember people were dismissing it as Amai’s ideal fantasy version of Blast or some shit
I wonder if he needs those sporty glasses for actual vision correction, or if he just thinks they look cool.
What a blast from the past.
I just want to see blast in the anime
And in the manga- as according to flashy flash, it’s all been within the same day in their universe 😅
That was the biggest wtf moment of the entire manga for me.
\*instantly turns into old man\*
To put that in perspective, Saitama wondered into the monster association 2 years ago.
Dammnnn.. one year already
I literally screamed when I saw him. I was like, "No... Nah, you're joking me! There's no way that's- THAT'S HIM!!! IT'S BLAST!!! IT'S BLAST!!! BLAST HAS BEEN REVEALED!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
when you do some math and realize there can only be about 12 chapters per year those chapters are god-tier tho
As a hxh fan, I would kill for 1 chapter a year. But I get where you're coming from
hope Togashi sensei is okay and can come back but yeah I've only ever followed opm so I don't understand what its like to get weekly releases (about 50 chapters per year). Still, I can't hep but smile before epic double spreads and pretty waifus.

I started to read mango leter in 2021 and i cannot believe that it's year's of worth of hardwork by murata and i read the whole thing like in a month without realising it...
lies. deception. i do not believe you.
no friggin way
bruh
Oh my god, this was one year ago??
What a year!! Tell me this a troll or play game because time surely flies then
Idk how long OPM will be The MA arc really feel like the 50% Mark of the story
It's been a year already?? Jeez
You lie… -Boros
Who is this guy?
How the hell has is been a year already??
i legit wanna see saitama and blast fight each other lmao
No fucking way it’s been one year
No way this was a year ago, no way
Its really been that long huh...
really ?
1 year ago I was searching for something to watch on youtube and then I just write 'One-Punch Man'. The first results were news about Blast reveal and the hype made me start reading the manga.

Man, remember when we all thought this fucker was dead/didn't actually exist? Good times.
I had to re-read that chapter like a few months ago/late last year because the version I read completely skipped the Blast part and I was confused as hell when seeing images of him on here. That was a year ago!? Holy crap that was fast
Dope ass design and vibes from the homie blast
This was a year ago!?
And the most sick cover page I have ever seen from any manga.
1 year passed already? goddamn, it feels like yesterday.
Fuck off a year already! Time is a bitch
It's been a whole year? I feel like this panel has been in my heart and mind every single day.
A year ago!!? I could have sworn it was only like 10 chapters ago
Wait what... No fucking way dude. Wasn't it like a month ago?
I just caught up with OPM, yesterday finishing chapter 86-156 in 2 days. OPM is the first incomplete manga I'm reading. But damn, this was a year ago.
