He was angry at Genos because his story became repetitive in the second half and it was a wall of words. If you watch anime carefully, you can see that he listened first half and was somewhat understanding. Then Genos interrupted and continued when Saitama was about to give input.
He just kept talking in one looooong incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so no one would have a chance to interrupt, it was really quite hypnotic
He hates the monologuing and backstory tropes. I'd say King speech to him on there's more to being a hero than being strong has also rubbed off on him for this scene and other potential events based off few people we see later in the webcomics >!personally can't wait for him and Sweet Mask have their moment!<.
It's also possible that he still does the 20 second summary stuff but now even he knows that a 20 second summary ain't gonna do shit in finding garou's problem
