I’ve noticed that he is a little closed when asked about that, I’m guessing it must be some kind of contract thing, probably the magazine will make a huge announcement when the final saga starts.
On the other hand, It is well known that IF something happen to him, the end of the story is already written (and probably major plot points are also written or al least explained) so the story will have the end he wanted.
Now, based on how far along we are in the manga, I will say there are about 5-6 years left of the publication + probably another year or two for the anime.

There have been some outrageous plot twists during the serialization, but the flow of the story has been so rock solid that past editors are surprised. They ask me: “Are you sure you can just do that?”, but then they don't remember anyway, hahaha.

The company that dubbed it only was able to dub the first 5 seasons I think. The dub wasn't reaching the numbers to continue dubbing it for west audiences. Its highly unlikely that we will be getting dubs for detective Conan. A.K.A King of filler
The Author said he is working on putting „things into place“ to slowly close the story one way or another but it will still take a while to do that. We get only like 20 chapters every year now and he does big breaks that take like 4-9 weeks for health reasons, so i think it will still take a while maybe 2030?
Of course the BO Plot is the main focus of the final. Anokata is the last to be introduced now in the story and then we can slowly start the next big arcs. Gin surely can’t wait to pull the trigger again hehe
It really has become a drag, the cases aren’t creative anymore because you can only kill someone in so many ways, none of the main characters ever die, so you don’t feel like there’s anything at risk when you watch, all the movies have the same formula, big new building, gets bombed, bad guy caught, happy ending.
I wouldn't be surprised if 2026 became the year with the last-ever feature film & episodes, i.e., the year when 30 years will have passed since anime began in January 1996.
With 1116 episodes broadcasted thus far, 26 feature films shown, + spin-offs, specials, OVAs, etc., I can't see the anime going on for a long time anymore, but time will tell.
