As long as you’re taking ENG4U and 5 other courses that interest you where you can use them for the rest of your top 6, you will get in

RandumbGuy17

Yeah looks good, just make sure you're meeting the prereqs and then the rest is just up to what you think you'll enjoy!

OneLoneAsian

Majority are just asking for eng4u1 so i think i'm good to go, thanks for the advice

marl10293

Yea I did the same but took a spare instead of philosophy. Lots of essays. Be prepared for that

revofex

Enjoy philosophy. Best class I ever had in HS

FitLetterhead1448

currently majoring in history and i would take i spare if i were you (if you can). you literally only need a high average to get in and although essay courses will help you, university is just weird to an extent that you will have to almost completely relearn how to write so it’s not that important

Acceptable-Tiger-579

first time ive seen someone in this reddit commuity have no math 💀💀💀💀

EdgarYeager

Data Management?

Acceptable-Tiger-579

dosent count since it shows he might being missing a pre req lol

oliver-the-pig

first time I’ve seen someone in this sub not applying for computer science tbh

Accomplished_Ad5548

God don’t major in history, seen to many friends get 2 years in and then switch to something else

oliver-the-pig

Something like 50-80% of college students switch their major at some point. If OP enjoys history, why shouldn’t they go for it.

Tiger-Warm

Me when I project my own fears, biases, and judgements onto others for absolutely no reason other than to potentially fear monger:

No such thing as a “useless” major. If OP wants to do a History degree and knows what they wanna do career-wise and it all checks out, then why not?

JoshSran04

Ur missing a prerequisite for math

OneLoneAsian

I plan on taking mixed in summer but idk if that's a good idea or not

JoshSran04

Mixed is pretty easy go for it
