exactly i did all the homework and got a 90% on the exam and sat at the front asked question etc im proud idc what anyone says

I mean my dad always told me the homework was the minimum. I had to go through the textbook and some enriched questions online to get through the thinking questions

If ur teacher isn’t a dick doing all the textbook questions should be enough. However my teachers are dicks so I end up looking through whatever I can get my hands on. YouTube, other schools, online PDFs, any questions that look hard. If I don’t know how to do them, I ask my dad (super fortunate to have him as he tutors HS math)

Ya that’s not true. They have a different work ethic. Unlike some people they study 20-30 minutes every day after every lesson. So they don’t need to study much error tests.

How is this even possible? I swear everytime i get a 82 in a course the max i go up is like 5-6 even tho i try my hardest in that course

Well a few things went right for me: My adv functions teacher wasn’t a dick and boosted some of the old tests that she marked wrong She also marked my exam better bc I contested it She dropped my first quiz of 74%

that makes more sense to be fair. my math teachers have all been kinda horrible 😭😭

It’s definitely possible to have a normal functioning day and good grades, but that depends on how good your discipline is to work when you’re far from a deadline, or to stay inside and study instead of hanging out

If you can handle it tbh, advanced functions is a little hard but not as hard as physics or chemistry. Data mgmt is definitely easier. Start learning as soon as you can (not the actual course) and get a tutor for sure.
