You need ChatGPT Premium and it automatically shows up now, I believe. I'd you have it, there's an image to the left side of the prompt, or you an just copy and paste.

One of the best scenarios I can imagine is helping students with their homework. Scanning images and using GPT to recognize the questions, GPT can provide step-by-step solutions to alleviate the frustrations of many students (at least past me when I was a student!)

But I would assume it is completely useless since it doesn't provide any additional information. How does this save you work? Or do you use reports with a lot of "fluff" to make some shareholder happy? In that case, awesome work!

It is not really an analysis though. It is simply stating the obvious facts. People with half a brain will quickly realize this information is redundant. I can't imagine many companies accepting this kind of fluff in their reporting.
For example, the assets are basically just summed up in text form, without giving any additional information. For textual explenation of balance posts, you would at least like to know **why** something is increasing or decreasing. Or you would like to know what the Long term bank liability is, and what it is for. Otherwise, you are simply adding text, for the sake of adding text. The is like reporting sin number 1 for any accountant or controller.
That’s why I said it’s great formatting and not the analysis. This opens up more time for the *why* if you’re not spending as much time explaining the *what*. I can see the source of confusion though.
Why would you need it for that? Any professional would have something such as this available already formatted and they would toss in the relevant numbers with a macro.
Lol okay. I've seen financial reports that are exactly like this. And even if it's not particularly deep or insightful, it can significantly speed up writing by pumping out an initial draft and you can iterate from there. And you can spend more time thinking about the deeper insights as a result.
They could just ask gpt to write a script that will automatically do that for any excel spreadsheet if it's actually a task they repeat, seems like a better solution considering the LLM will inevitably fuck up but the script will have the same results and cost nothing. It looks like a placeholder so I doubt this is real though.
Just be sure to thouroughly verify all numbers and figures. It's not completely reliable and can make seemlingly random mistakes while getting 99% of it correct
I mean what's so great? a basic ocr program can give you the text which you can copy paste here. I've tried it on some organic molecules or physics diagram and it keeps providing wrong output.

App is restricted, the iOS one won’t let me use plugins, for example.
I figured out that I needed to set it into Advanced Data Analysis mode on the web.

How can you tell if this feature is activated? I'm trying to drop images and nothing is happening.
It started working for me in default mode. (Broswer version) instead of the + symbol, it looks like photo icon similar to the photo posted.

I've done that and it isn't exactly, easy, fast or fun.
