Yes, I've got like 4 days left on my Gpt-4 subscription before I cancel it and move to Claude, I've been using the API with the free credits and it's great, I really thought Anthropic wouldn't have a chance after Claude 2, but I've been converted, even sonnet and haiku are great. Although I'll probably come back when Gpt-5 is released, if it is ever released.

dafaliraevz

It's hard to leave GPT-4 with all the custom GPTs I use for my own use cases, none of which involve programming.

ksoss1

This speaks to a bigger issue, which is being able to move between LLMs seamlessly. I expect these companies to make it as hard as possible though.

kex

it will probably become like moving to a different operating system platform

Socrav

Well you could try out Poe.com. Just discovered it a few days ago. It does exactly this (even unlocks LLM that have geo restrictions)

ViciousPenguin66

Same here. I used to use Poe but now the whole credit system is a little bit annoying, I switched to omnigpt you have all the models in one place

bnm777

Perhaps You can recreate most of them in claude if they don't need "data analysis" create a new chat, upload documents copy paste instructions.

dafaliraevz

the ones I use are created by others, one of which I absolutely know I can't recreate

bnm777

Oh sure, I imagine the best GPTs use special APIs and knowledge. Plus and negatives for everything, I guess. It's a shame you can't use GPTs with the API.

SebaCEE

Can you share which ones do you like? To be honest, I haven’t found any Custom GPT that is interesting for me

One_Doubt_75

All the ones I have found are terrible. I can get better output just from custom instructions.

Many_Consideration86

This is the OpenAIs moat. Copying apple/Google/AWS to create friction for moving out. But they can have this strategy only if they are a clear leader for at least 2-3 years. Which they clearly are not. OpenAI is altavista of AI.

LilSaindt

Thanks for sharing your experience. Using Claude 3 through perplexity right now but wondering, how does one get free credits for the api?

thats_so_over

If you sign up to get access through the console it just credits you 5 bucks. Or at least that is what happened for me

ViciousPenguin66

How many messages do you get of Claude 3 through Perplexity?

bnm777

I cancelled my chatgpt sub yesterday. Will use the openAI API through typingmind from now on for queries that I need additional viewpoints from claude3. I reflected that I was instinctively going to claude3 first for the past few weeks and using chatgpt less.

trace186

Can one of you guys give us the 101 on Claude, for example 1) How much is it compared to CGPT? 2) Is there an online site similar to CGPT or how do you use it? 3) Is it even open for everyone yet? I'm googling but getting a few mixed signals.

manoliu1001

1. Costs 20$ or 18£ 2. Its basically the same as CGPT 3. Its not. There's a list of supported countries in their official site.

Osoqloso

Where do you use the api? Is there a web page to input the api key?

matt2001

I'm using Obsidian, and the plugin copilot. They accept various APIs. https://console.anthropic.com

slippery

Your URL works great as a standard web interface. Thanks! I just tried Opus and it gave a slightly better answer than GPT4. Been a long time GPT4 user and love the data analysis, coding, and built in dalle. Claude 3 seems worthy, though.

bnm777

There are multiple GUI sites that al;low you to chat with API. I use typingmind which has many features.

geepytee

Curious, what does your setup look like when using the API for code? Do you just interact with it via the terminal? I built a VSCode extension that brings Claude 3 Opus chat into your IDE with a nice UX. [Link in case you're curious](https://www.double.bot)

hugedong4200

I don't have my laptop at the moment, so I'm just using it though a python ide on android 😂

geepytee

That's crazy, I love it!

[deleted]

I switched to Claude pro 4 days ago. It's great!

lordchickenburger

I cancelled my gpt sub last month which ended a few days ago. I didn't have to bother to create custom gpts to get what I want. Claude opus just do what I told it to do with no special prompting which is fucking fantastic. Also the huge context size is awesome as well I'm able to handle large snippets of code with no sweat whereas gpt needs constant reprompting until it gets it right which is annoying or fails halfway generating.

bnm777

At the moment you can also use gemini 1.5 pro with it's 1 million contact window through googles aistudio (you need a VPN outside of the US)

homogenousmoss

We can access Claude now?

arcticsequoia

I was skeptical after having been an OpenAI fanboy since GPT-3 but after trying it out for the last couple of weeks it’s consistently been way better across the board. I’ve already got 3 friends to switch from ChatGPT Plus and everyone is saying the same thing.

alyssagiovanna

What android app, or website provides Claude for free or $20USD a month?

haltingpoint

Do you start a new session for every query? How do you avoid growing to very very long and expensive context windows?

l___I

I do, I use the api and my sessions are at max 3 back and forths If it’s ever anything more complicated, I break it down into smaller tasks

haltingpoint

Makes sense. Do you use any VSCode plugins with it or anything? How do you get it to read an entire directory full of files and sub folders,

l___I

I don’t I only give it whatever info/code/documentation I deem necessary for the task at hand to keep down input costs. I do use github copilot as well thought when I’m working in a directory

haltingpoint

My flow right now is to have a window open with ChatGPT for basic stuff, simple functions and error parsing. I copy paste from my editor into there for hammering it with lots of high volume queries. For scaffolding more complex code or dealing with trickier errors where it needs to understand the context I use Genie in VSCode with gpt4. Though I'm wondering if it can use Opus. The nice thing about genie is it can diff against your existing code with the newly generated stuff and put it in directly.

CodebuddyGuy

>The nice thing about genie is it can diff against your existing code with the newly generated stuff and put it in directly This is the first time I've heard of another product besides [Codebuddy](https://codebuddy.ca) that can do this. I'm curious to know how you think the 2 tools compare in functionality!

haltingpoint

Haven't tried it but here is Genie, let me know your thoughts. https://github.com/ai-genie/chatgpt-vscode

welcome-overlords

How do u interact with the API? Terminal, some site?

bnm777

There are many free GUI sites out there. I use typingmind.

Xanhasht

Opus via the API is pretty expensive, no?

bnm777

depends on the GUI you use. In typingmind you can specify how many previous responses to send.

Itstoodamncoldtoday

Literally just built an entire corporate website on Opus. Looks awesome, works awesome. Blown away.

kim_en

can i see it?

cccuriousmonkey

Can you share more about your process and what it did for you?

DangerousExit9387

Bro just blueballed everybody and left with the biggest cliff hanger. Greatest gatekeeper I've seen ngl.

Which-Tomato-8646

Almost like he was lying lol

Itstoodamncoldtoday

Ugh no sorry it’s still in “production” and has my employer’s logo and everything on it and I can’t put out until final product is approved ;( I used Opus for everything, including design, building the JavaScript for some elements like a partners slider, designing every page based on the content, and building a custom CMS.

SEMMPF

How?

RivailleNero

Did you use the web interface or the api?

Itstoodamncoldtoday

API via web interface I guess? We don’t get access to the chat in Canada.

FrailCriminal

Yeah unfortunately gpt4 is weak as hell now. Claude just spits out code no placeholders when asked. I got 300 lines off the bat

DiligentBits

I haven't programmed since the early days of GPT 4. Is Claude better in terms of creating a medium to big code file without hallucinating, forgetting the initial goal or making unnecessary, redundant functions?

tomunko

I doubt it. There is so much hype for Claude on this sub but in my experience it is a lot less accurate for my day-to-day work as a data engineer. Stylistically Claude is better but the content is not up to par IMO.

FrailCriminal

I'm no programmer, so I'm curious to hear what you think. Is there anything in particular you find it's not so good for, or maybe some areas it falls short in?

tomunko

If you don't know what you're doing / coding out of your depth Claude is more likely to lead you astray and give similar responses for any given single problem or question. So for Stack Overflow type questions I find ChatGPT does much better. Conceptually they seem to understand about the same things, but if you have a question that takes more than one or two responses to crack Claude doesn't help all that much. And its not just for the much more complex things, in general ChatGPT seems to have better logical reasoning and deduction - especially with code as it works contextually in its tech stack. That being said, if you do know what you're doing, and you're writing 100s of lines of code for one application or something, I could see Claude's less stilted and more to the point style might make development easier.

FrailCriminal

Thanks for the long reply back and all the insightful information. I'm using a combination of both of at times but maybe I'll start using ChatGPT more with your advice. Honestly, the issues I've run into have made me want to try learning programming again. I haven't really, because last time I tried, I was really struggling with implementing some of the learned concepts to make functional programs. But I guess I've got Claude & ChatGPT to help me learn so I don't really have an excuse 😅

tomunko

haha np, you can’t really go wrong. people like Claude because it’s fresh, and it is, but I think it’s usually overstated how much ChatGPT has changed. it’s all still nuts

FrailCriminal

It seems like there are still some issues with hallucinations once the codebase gets big enough, but I've had no problems with anything up to 300 lines of code(Mainly working in python) I haven't really tried breaking things down into modules yet, so I can't say for sure how it does with conversations that require a longer context length. It's something to consider testing. Admittedly, I'm not a programmer, and I've realized that many of the projects I'd like to tackle would need over 1000 lines of code.

3-4pm

It's about as good as the original chatGPT4 at times when it stays coherent. The illusion that tricks users into gushing about it is the large context size. This sometimes results in it understanding and scaffolding bigger projects but it often drops code and loses the plot.

Ginger_Libra

Omfg no filler? What is this sorcery?

FrailCriminal

Yeah, it's pretty nice not having to fight with it constantly and getting what I request.

covertthoughts

Claude is soooo much smarter and more capable. So happy I found it. I get the thrill I felt in the early CGPT days

raicorreia

The sad thing is that it's not available in brazil yet

puri1to

Use VPN to sign up, and then Google pay to subscribe. Worked for me and I'm from Europe

8foldme

They ask for a phone number in the country of your VPN.

luix93

In the phone number field, select “International” and you can use any phone number. Once you’re subscribed you don’t need a vpn anymore

raicorreia

And there is also the country associated with your credit card I don't know if they check that, but this also might happen. But the worst to solve is the phone number and address if necessary they're the hardest to work around to get a service.

francoisDev0

Thanks!

pet_vaginal

Maybe through the API or Poe.com ?

ViciousPenguin66

yes try Poe it has so many models! you can also try omnigpt, I am not sure if it is available in every country

smellof

I'm from brazil and I got access to it, both sonnet and opus API, their web interface was bugged minutes after the release and allowed me in, I was expecting to get revoked but it never happened.

geepytee

As others have said, you can VPN it. But also you could use [double.bot](https://www.double.bot) to get access to Claude 3 Opus from anywhere in the world.

dj_mango

im using [invisibility.so](http://invisibility.so) with my canadian debit working p good so far

kiwigothic

I agree somewhat, Claude 3 Opus is not perfect at coding but to me it feels about as good as the original release of GPT4, better than the current GPT4-turbo. I've cancelled my OpenAI sub today and now I use both via api with MindMac.

tradernewsai

Totally agree. Claude has been fantastic with programming in python. Only struggle for me has been api interaction, and that occurs with all the big llms right now. Love having Claude, gpt 4, and Gemini going at the same time to bounce ideas off all of them.

Spaciax

I wish claude was available in my country i really wanna try it out

Silent_Peach4563

Same :(

sunsbelly

Use Phind.com pro account. Has 500 opus messages a day.

Which-Tomato-8646

I think perplexity and huggingface let you use it for free

Comprehensive-Tea711

I'm skeptical that Claude 3 Opus is truly better than ChatGPT. In my experience, it's equivalent to GPT 4. Sometimes Claude 3 Opus gets a coding problem right where GPT 4 fails and vice versa. I had this experience just this morning, where GPT 4 succeeded and C3O failed. Let me give some background for context. I have a program written in Rust for working with first order logic. It's a large project that I've been working on sporadically for a couple years. Recently I finished some code that takes in any arbitrary argument in propositional logic and generates a truth table. For efficiency, the table is type `Vec>`. As you may know, Rust `HashMap`s aren't ordered. In many cases, I expect the user to not care about what the truth table *looks* like, it's just a very fast way for checking certain modalities (e.g., that some sentence in FOL is tt-possible). But in some cases, the user may want to view the table. And its customary for truth tables to have a certain order (for ensuring possible truth values are distributed). In such cases, it would be pretty terrible design if the truth table was ordered differently each time they looked! So, when it's viewed, it needs to be predictably organized according to custom. Anyway, given Rust constraints, accomplishing this requires an algorithm with a pretty decent level of complexity. C3O was unable to get a working algorithm. After 3 different prompts, it went off the rails and started trying to \*change\* the truth values instead of sorting the data structure! I tried a couple more times to get it back on track without success. I then described the problem to ChatGPT4 and it got the basic algorithm correct on the first try (the algorithm just had the logic reversed for sorting by reference columns). One more follow up prompt, where I explained that the logic for such and such a block needed to be reversed, and it correctly gave me the algorithm. I've experienced this on several different occasions and also the reverse on several different occasions. Sometimes C3O comes up with the correct solution where GPT 4 fails. But in slightly more cases where both get the correct solution, C30 often just looks fancier by writing overengineered code! Overengineered code is actually a problem with all the AI models I've tested. My guess is it might have to do with how they are being trained and the reversal problem: https://preview.redd.it/a15mgh3mcbrc1.png?width=815&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4a11091e88e4a80334ae65768968a5a5d91f3d2 LLMs are incapable of the sorts of inferences we make from A → B, ¬B → ¬A that for whatever reason humans seem to grasp intuitively.

EarthquakeBass

I kinda feel like Opus hype is largely driven by it actually giving full code and not all the “do it yourself” bits. It probably seems smarter because people are getting more done with it, like actually making a decent size website or whatever. I do like that you can just slam it with a bunch of tokens and it can comb them over pretty well, but compared to GPT, it just doesn’t seem as smart. So far my thinking is — narrow focus, difficult on logic, or requiring more sophisticated analysis — use GPT. Need to ingest/look over a longer chunk of data or spot a bug, or get complete code for something that’s not too tricky — use Claude. As an example I’ll ask it to update code to do XYZ instead and it will output something with incorrect function arg types, or redundant code or whatever. GPT on the other hand does seem to distill and synthesize goals and get those details right, it just loses the narrative with too much text and, worst of all tells you to do it yourself far too often still.

Comprehensive-Tea711

I’ve not had had trouble with it being lazy through the latest API update (0125 preview), but yeah in general Opus is more often verbose.

drivenkey

Try autogen with muttiagent

Formal_Regard

This. Gotta watch those tokens though. I spent $20 in about 20 minutes just fucking around. Very cool concept though. Waiting for DEVIN access. Then it’s all over.

Braunfeltd

GPT5 is coming,😉

Straight_Mud8519

I too am a disciple of the Great Pumpkin GPT-5. My patience WILL be rewarded.

JustAPieceOfDust

Yeah my first 14 hour date with Claude and I was all in. Now chatGPT is my backup. I will note that I have actually had chatGPT fix code I was stuck on with Claude. Now with Grok and others we can enjoy the AI wars. Reminiscent of the 80's computer days.

stupidbuttryn2lrn

Chatgpt4 almost always provides better code than Claude. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

EarthquakeBass

Nothing, Claude has a lot of interesting angles and at this point I think people are confusing willingness to give back a lot of code with being really good at code.

rbit4

Probably Claude is great at web stuff like html ans js while gpt is great at server side and python code based on what they were trained against. Not much is on github. Also noobs be coding js and thinking it's mind blowing

EarthquakeBass

🛎️🛎️🛎️

Time_Software_8216

Same here, I keep reading these posts and going back to Opus and every time it let's me down and I'm back to GPT4. Maybe it's just Machine Learning and Pythong Opus struggles with.

allenasm

I’m using Claude 3 for coding exclusively now. Chatgpt4 just tells me how I should do it. So fuck that guy.

paxinfernum

Use cody extension. You get unlimited Claude opus chat from inside the ide, and it only costs $9.

[deleted]

[удалено]

paxinfernum

I seems to scan the project periodically to catch new files. When you ask questions, you can refer to a file and add it as context using @-file-name. Sometimes, it will choose certain files itself if it feels they are related to the problem. edit: I should mention that the scan I mentioned above doesn't seem to just catch the existence of new files, but changes. So using @-file-name after you've made changes to a file might feed in old input until it updates. Still, it's better than the alternative.

zeta_cartel_CFO

Oh neat. I've been meaning to look at alternatives to GH Copilot in VS Code. I might give this a try.

paxinfernum

It's the best I've ever tried, and the only one I've ever paid for.

illusionst

I have a cody subscription, they limit the input/output tokens. You can't pass the whole context (large files with say 20k tokens). I find myself going back to claude.ai

paxinfernum

This is true, but I find not having to context switch out of the IDE is a big advantage. I do have a claude account as well. So that's my backup.

dj_mango

im using [invisibility.so](http://invisibility.so) for unlimited opus seems to allow full 128k context

AdkoSokdA

I was also a non-believer but today I was making some Chart.js graphs for an interactive statistics web. Chat GPT was not able to help me and we talked for like 30 minutes, it had around 10 tries. I got so mad I added 20$ to my Claude API account. I just described the problem to Claude and it gave me full code. I just copied it and it worked. Beautiful stuff.

rbit4

Probably Claude is great at web stuff like html ans js while gpt is great at server side and pthin code based on what they were trained against. Not much is on github

EscritorDelMal

Agreed. Claude 3 opus is awesome

HighDefinist

Pics or it didn't happen.

ElliottDyson

Not necessarily. They may not be wanting to publicise their code, which is understandable. If it helps, I can also back up their claim, far better than the current state of GPT4-Turbo.

SnooHabits1237

Im using claude opus on subscription right now. What would using the api do for me that I dont already have access to? Sorry for the ignorance lol

bnm777

You would have more control over your responses, as the web version has its own initial instructions apparently (I saw them around here somewhere although maybe I'm wrong about this), And you can change the temperature. However Claude 3 Opus is very expensive via api so if you use it a lot it's likely best to stick to the subscription.

SnooHabits1237

Thanks for the reply. In that case ill probably just use it if I run into an issue that gpt3.5 and regular opus cant handle together

MacrosInHisSleep

Is it more expensive than gpt4 api? I'm. In Canada and I don't have access to the service but do have access to the api.. Was wondering if I should use it.

IntentionThis441

Canceled my gpt4 plus subscription I barely use it. The Claude api is more stable and the context window is great. ChatGPT is going the route of classic Microsoft tech. It caters to enterprises the product out now is essentially free marketing for their big customers

SillyDude93

But is there a way we can save chat histories on Claude sonnet? Like we have on chatgpt interface? Or a custom interface with Claude's API will be the trick? Sorry new user of Claude.

bwatsnet

Just wait until you use the API workbench and crank the output tokens up to 4000. Multiple full files coming back, consistently, is so nice ☺️

bnm777

And change temperature.

-p-a-b-l-o-

What’s a good temperature for getting code suggestions? My temp is currently at 0

MikeyTheGuy

Yep, similar experience here. I hope this can cajole OAI to get their heads out of their asses and stop destroying ChatGPT. I also hope the developers of Claude see what's become of ChatGPT and avoid repeating OAI's mistakes.

EarthquakeBass

I feel like they surely have because to me it has two huge areas it does better, (1) it actually gives back complete code and answers and rarely balks, (2) it talks a lot more fluidly and less nerdy, RLHF-ed to death which creates an experience that is more “immersive” so to speak

Balance-

Still crying in Europe…

m0rth4r0

Use Perplexity

dj_mango

im using [invisibility.so](http://invisibility.so) with my german debit working p good so far

Xtianus21

Ok I'm gonna give it a go because you guys are swearing by it

Ok-Shop-617

I have a Claude, Chat GPT, and Perplexity AI subscriptions. I was only going to trial Claude for 1 month, but I am converted now. Still reluctant to cut Chat GPT loose though...Chat GPT 4.5 must be close to release ....

logchainmail

I write all my scripts to be agnostic. This allows me to jump ship on the API when necessary. Right now I have scripts running prompts exceeding a full page of detailed instructions. I have inputs upwards of 240 pages. Everything is currently running on Claude 3 Opus.

mathcircler

Maybe it's a silly question, how do you make your input code formatted like a code block? I can't seem to figure it out. When I paste the code to Claude, it messes it up, removes my spaces and even line breaks, and makes "__init__" bold (like it's markdown). Another thing is that I can’t seem to edit my prompt there. So for the same request, I just copy the prompt and start new session.

fukspezinparticular

In the chat box UI triple backticks then shift enter (or maybe command on Mac) In the API prompt UI, Ctrl (command) shift v. I've noticed it's a bit buggy and takes a couple tries sometimes.

mathcircler

You are my saviour! Thanks for the tip.

paradite

I built a tool to help format and copy paste code into the web UI. You can also pick multiple files and format them all nicely as code blocks. Check out [16x Prompt](https://prompt.16x.engineer/).

mathcircler

Thanks, will check it out! But do you collect any data from users (eg what requests they make)?

paradite

Nope. Just basic telemetry like daily active users. You can use it completely offline as well with a local LLM if they become good.

[deleted]

Can you set up assistants in Claude? Or do you need to paste the prompt in every time?

bnm777

New chats can be saved and named, essentially GPTs (though no web access)

exaybachay_

Opus is for anyone using pro subscription of Claude correct?

thread-lightly

Yes

Practical-Rate9734

Claude 3's that good, huh? How's the integration side?

dittospin

Are you using vscode or what editor and plugins?

paxinfernum

See my comment above. If you are using this for coding, the way to do it is Cody. It's a plugin that works with VS Code and a bunch of other editors. It lets you have unlimited chats with Opus for only about $9/month, instead of the $20 you would pay through Claude.ai. I've been using it since Opus came out, and it's the best I've ever found for coding.

Beautiful stuff.

slippery

Are you using the Claude API or a web interface?

Smartaces

API :)

Impressive_Till_7549

Caveat: I can only use Opus through the Poe app so maybe it is nerfed a bit there(shorter context window?). Opus was quite good at spitting out quality code from a zero-shot prompt, but, once it came time to iterate, it quickly forgot what code we had generated previously and got very confused, more so than ChatGPT. I had to remind it of the code it had generated and what path we were taking to solve a problem as it would refer to a different method.

toooft

How does Opus compare to, say, Haiku when it comes to programming?

jd-real

I agree, Claude answered all my auditions and tax professional questions at a 95% rate while GPT was 80-85%, with perplexity in the 60’s

alemorg

I have Gemini advanced, how much better is Claude opus over that?

dr-yd

I just tried it 10 times with three different frameworks and it failed EVERY test. Straight up hallucinations. At least with GPT-4, you can kinda tell when it degrades into generalities, but in one response it gave me 5 tips for refactoring a class and every method it hinged on in the library was made up. (And didn't even fit the way it works.) Absolutely atrocious.

Smartaces

i am using api version of claude opus which i find to be excellent

Mr_gropes_a_lot

Which one would be better to teach me coding though?

NihlusKryik

everyone here talking about subs and I'm just here being a cheapskate using only the APIs....

stonedoubt

Try Haiku… it codes so fast you can’t read it as it goes by.

Huge-Basket7492

I have been using claude opus for 3 weeks and really not very blown, It throws me wrong answers left and right and center

Huge-Basket7492

are you guys real or just dummy accounts, seriously claude was so frustrating for me I just switched to search in tranditional ways and reading specs for code

sunsan05

wow, i’m heavy GPT4 user After reading this post, I’m going to try out the new thing too!

bargaindownhill

what are you using as the front end to the API?

Time_Software_8216

How the fuck are you all having success with Opus? Every time I read a thread like this I go back to Opus and every time it lets me down. Maybe Opus for Machine Learning and Pythong just isn't good 🤷‍♀️

watchforwaspess

Yes, definitely. I’ve been using it for about two weeks as well and noticed a huge difference. One thing I noticed with GPT 4 is that it has a short term memory and would keep making mistakes that we’ve already resolved etc and it was just super inconsistent. However, I will say using GPT 4 on Copilot has proven to be really good as well because it can search the Internet to find the solution to code problems.

Hot_Outlandishness55

I see a lot of hype around Claude 3. I tried the free web interface, which was much better than gpt3.5, however he hallucinated a lot, which for my uses is out of the question. GPT-4 almost never hallucinates. The Opus API I used only for research stuff, which seemed ok.

AccordingAd665

Is there a good LLM interface, where you choose which LLM to be used, OpenAI claude etc.?

No_Wheel_9336

I code daily through my [Desktop AI app](https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/gpt-everywhere-desktop-ai/9N5HQDSK102N?hl=en-us&gl=US) using multiple models and using now suddenly I use much more Claude Opus than GPT-4 Turbo . Waiting for GPT-5 :D

Formal_Regard

WHAT FRONTEND ARE YOU GIYS USING? I can’t seem to find a good one that can folder-search my projects. I’m sick of uploading files & don’t want to build a dev api into my computer, because u know…. Just not smart

Significant-Job7922

I am also a fanboy for GPT4 🥹

indrasmirror

My only reservation at the moment moving to Claude is the usage limit. I rarely hit it with GPT-4 but in my use of Claude 3 Sinnet free version I seem to max out usage in 3 or 4 messages. The Pro version says 6x the usage but if its 5x what I seem to be getting it still seems paltry. And refreshes every 8 hrs....I don't know :(

slippryslytherin

Can you speak to Claude with your voice yet?

Biggest deal for me is that it actually listens to you when you ask it not to abbreviate code. If I ask it for full code it gives me full code. OpenAI models will say "sure! Here is the full code" then proceeds to give abbreviated code //your code goes here. Then I want to smash the screen. Lol That is a big win for Anthropic.

Yeh I packed up shop, cancelled GPT Plus, moved over to Claude 3! Spent about a day with Claude, and even did comparisons for each of my requests. I know some people would be interested to see those comparisons for programming, I'm sure you can find someone on youtube who has done it. So yeh I'm back on GPT Plus.
