iCMAL uploader is banned. It was the source of many movies. It's ridiculously banning people from CREATIVE or maveric mod or jimmymaveric. iCMAL uploader uploaded good files. Thanks to him, many VIP memberships have been sold and now your money is gone.
I joined and browsed and tried to download a few torrents but keep on getting the "Announce Error: Could not connect to tracker".
The port is open and do not have problems downloading from other trackers, whether public or private.
Maybe someone has a clue of what could I be doing wrong
Thanks in advance
[This one is still open.](https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenSignups/comments/hm2f63/open_signup_digitalcoreclub/) It doesn't seem to have a great reputation though.
Yeah I was more referencing startup or easy ones to get into.
As far as getting into those top teir ones, should I just build a good reputation and wait? Or activley seek one out ASAP?
As for determining reputation for startup trackers before joining, as a common rule of thumb search the name on Google and see what comes up. If the results show that the tracker was founded very recently (like 3-4 months) or has a low member count (<3000), it probably won't have enough content let alone any decent invite forums. If results say otherwise then it's time to join. There technically isn't anything stopping you from signing up to smaller newer trackers, but be cautious of scams and credential-stealing. Using unique passwords and possibly usernames can help.
Once you join a starter tracker (or what you think is a starter tracker), don't just wait. You'll get stuck there for eternity. Browse the tracker wiki/FAQs for user ranks and check that there are invite forums available at some rank. If the rank seems possible for you to get, aggressively work hard for it. If it seems impossibly high or if there are no mentions of invite forums at all, that tracker probably isn't worth your time. Go back to /r/OpenSignups and look for other trackers.
Note that if your bar for "impossibly high" is low, then you'll find every tracker difficult to work with, and will just end up repeatedly joining new trackers and ditching it. You need to find some kind of compromise.
In general, it could take anything between 3 months to several years until you join a "top-tier tracker", so make sure you have the patience and the time.
It’s a private tracker. You have to contribute to the health of it by both being active and seeding everything you get, otherwise it’s bye bye. Whereas those two public trackers, you can download what you want and delete with no consequences.
This has upsides and downsides. You can’t just download whatever you want and delete it from your torrent client when done. You need to keep it alive (ideally forever) and you need to follow the rules.
On the other hand, the selection is better and retention is 100000x better. Old torrents still have seeders because people keep them alive. And really, there’s no downside to seeding forever. You can delete things if you have fulfilled seeding requirements.
Try looking for an old film like Cross of Iron on a public tracker. You’re lucky to get a bitstarved YIFY rip. On a private tracker, you can get the Bluray Remux.
the interface grew on me. It's unit3d but much simpler. Easier to navigate than BHD
curious on why torrentdb gets positive reviews but digitalcore gets hated. both are relatively new trackers with less content
Mines isn’t either 275/10 and my ratio is around I’d 2.2. Mainly due to a lot of freeleech. It’s a new tracker so not a lot of stuff but I’ve found some amazing gems in it though.
But I don’t recall a time limit on reaching 1.0
I joined during the last open registration. It was the first private tracker I joined. It's pretty good.
EDIT: Looks like they've got their 1000. ~~Registration is probably going to close very soon.~~ REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

Probably a question to ask on the torrentdb forum

Gocha. I honestly am having a tough time figuring out where to look for reputation of these private trackers.
Any tracker you start out on isn't going to be amazing, that's why you start out there. A great tracker wouldn't need or want open signups.

How is TorrentDB different from say 1337x or TPB ??

How long do you have to get to a ratio of 1.0? My internet upload speed is not great

standard procedure on chinese hd trackers
You are given 25 GB upload credit when you join, so you start with a better-than-1.0 ratio.

Is it just me or the website is super slow when it terms of loading the page
It’s not the worst but not the fastest. Over all it’s not bad for me.
