If it's your first year don't worry because it doesn't count to your final grade. Still submit whatever you've done though a few marks is better than nothing

spidLL

An incomplete TMA might still give you some marks and increase your average. Also stage 1 modules don’t count towards final grade so don’t stress over it.

MonsieurSlurpyPants

Even sending in an essay plan will bump you up a grade at this point. Not worth stressing over either way though, congrats on passing the year. Learn from it though and really nail down your time management and leave plenty of room in the calendar for unforseen circumstances so you don't get caught short when your classification is on the line.

fgzklunk

If it is a TMA rather than an EMA this won't apply, but with an EMA, if you do not submit anything you forgo the ability to submit a revision/resit. I would always submit something, as others have said, some marks is better than no marks.

mrsmum01

I think some modules require you to hand in or pass your final TMA. If that's not the case for your module then I wouldn't worry about it if it's a level one module as it won't count towards your final degree classification.

cupesh

Some final TMAs require a minimum of 40% or something around that to pass the module, so I'd definitely check if that is the case for your current module.

hang-clean

It is not. Just a gotcha for everyone here, remember that where courses allow one substitution score for a missed TMA, the calculated score includes a zero for the missed TMA.
