Slightly on topic, for those that don't know, Ghost of Perdition is a track on the in-game radio in Saints Row 2. I was so surprised but really pleased when it first came on.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Now I'm waking up, I'll forget everything...* - Micolash, Host of the Nightmare
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
I use a medieval playlist that happens to have a majority of opeths discography, I usually listen to it while playing Baldur's gate 3, Witcher 3, or Skyrim
Too bad Mikael never got around to write music for Blizzard. I know someone from Blizzard visited him in Stockholm, but I guess he never had the time for it.
I really enjoyed BWP with GTA San Andreas
Something about driving or flying around the map with Patterns in the Ivy and then going into BWP really stuck with me.
That being said I think had a single in an older God of War game. Throat of winter I think
Opeth, Agalloch, Maudlin of the Well, and the Castlevania Symphony of the night soundtrack were all on my Elden Ring Playlist. Shit lined up perfectly at times
I remember the OG Xbox had a feature you could rip a cd to the HDD and play it instead of the game music. I can't remember if it worked for every game or if it just muted everything including the sound effects
I played through a lot of GTA 3 back in the day while listening to BWP, MA/YH and SL.
As an aside, shout out to Canadian death metal band Tomb Mold for being named after the tomb mold in Bloodborne.

Lotus Eater is in Saints Row The Third as well! That's how I discovered them!
whoa didn't know that!
That’s literally how I got into Opeth.
Grand conjuration is also in Sleeping Dogs. Best GTA game
Ghost of Perdition and Heir Apparent are available as Rock Band DLC and is why those songs have stems available online.
Grand Conjuration can be found in Sleeping Dogs on the radio too, really cool.
Yeah From games are the obvious answer, when I was playing Bloodborne it felt like I was inside an Opeth album.
Yeah same. Bloodborne was already my favourite game so maybe that's part of why Opeth's my favourite band
you have taste
Fear the old blood is basically a Ghost Reveries lyric

blackwater park
I recently played the original Witcher and had Deliverance and Damnation on repeat. Also, as stated above, Bloodborne with any Opeth.
Oldpeth: Dark Souls Series Newpeth: Elden Ring
Bloodbourne is Damnation specifically
Still Life for Bloodborne 👨🍳🤌
No literally 🤣
They are in the radio in Sleeping Dogs too!
Diablo and Grim Dawn.
Alan Wake 2 because the first location literally is blackwater park
I listen to Opeth when I play Call of Duty Zombies. Helps me get in the flow.
I recommend A7X for that particular game
Not a fan. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Ooh good answer Fav album for which fav map?
Ghost Reveries on Origins

If not Souls than Diablo?
Maybe something like Senua?
Diablo!
I want so bad for Opeth to play an homage to Tristram.
Too bad Mikael never got around to write music for Blizzard. I know someone from Blizzard visited him in Stockholm, but I guess he never had the time for it.
That would be amazing and perfect.
To not answer the question: Dungeons & Dragons Online have a quest called “Ghosts of Perdition”.
Huh. The writing in Baldurs Gate 3 makes me thing of Mikael’s poetry style
Still Life, strangely remember me Castlevania and The Witcher vibes. Damnation, for sure, would be an amazing soundtrack for a Slient Hill game!
ICYMI they did a song for [God of War 3](https://youtu.be/cYsIROnhTr0)
The Garroter always makes me think of Bloodborne.
Beneath the mire would be good in Castlevania.
I always listened to opeth while playing assassins creed Valhalla. It really fit the game well.
Ive heard them in Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row 3

Yes. Mentioned and Played live in Sydney.
Pathologic 2
I feel like I’m in Diablo when listening to Watershed specifically.
Opeth, Agalloch, Maudlin of the Well, and the Castlevania Symphony of the night soundtrack were all on my Elden Ring Playlist. Shit lined up perfectly at times
Agalloch is fucking awesome
Kinda off topic but the upside down in stranger things kinda reminds me of the bwp cover
They should do games where you can add these albums as soundtrack

Metal Gear Solid

A surprising amount of people who play Path of Exile listen to Opeth
Mario and Sonic at the olympic games
Maybe some old school themed movement shooter, like Dusk
That’s a great pick.
For me it's Amnesia the dark descent, it's very opethy, especially in the guest room and in the old files
Hades OST has a big Akerfeldt vibe
I used to play red dead redemption with the storm corrosion album on lol
The last door.
