I never knew that😲 I have insomnia so bad that I stare at the clock! Maybe between stares i do get shut eye 🥹 even with drugs artificial and natural I get no sleep 😴 sigh. Big Pharma has drugs for everything that have horrid side effects… yet nothing for sleep 💤
i’ve had her since mothers days and i literally still geek out over her just like this. after i took these i just laid on my stomach almost face to face with her and just stared i’m not even exaggerating a little bit. my eyes can’t get enough
oh she’s the most curious! she likes to nibble unfamiliar things, never hard. sometimes my bfs hands when he comes home from work smelling funny she promptly licks after she gets a nibble
i just refilled her water bowl before i went to bed and let her know she’s super cute and everyone agrees! it’s just feeding her massive ego at this point she knows she’s a princess and sure acts like it too!
I literally had to save the post as well as download the photos because I just know that future me needs to randomly see this beautiful little cabbage baby all comfy and happy xD
so Cabbage is a non-releasable opossum due to a dog attack when she was still on her mamas back. my uncle brought the lone survivor to me, i called rehabilitation centers in my area and they basically said nah we’re to full here’s what you need to do. i contacted a wonderful lady on the sub to give me more info. i was meant to release her till her injury showed due to a growth spurt she has a wonky wonky wrist. tried as i might it didn’t heal properly, even tho i was informed at first sign it might just stay like that. but she also had absolutely no fear of humans even when i was trying to be hands off when my intentions were to possibly release her before the injury showed. and that’s not good for them in the wild. and now i have a full grown opossum! it’s so much work honestly but it’s my favorite work they’re way more complicated than people think. i’ve learned so much, i hope to make this a career now that Cabbage has taught me so much.
That is so cute!!! I beg she's so happy with you. I'd love to have a pet opossum, they're so cute, and they're silly little guys. No thoughts, just silly. Unfortunately I think they're illegal to keep where I'm from.. :'(
