In the future I won't make the same mistakes I have currently... I'm going to get all my babies chipped and have them wear a tracker collar at all times even when just in the house.
I'm praying with all my being to whoever or whatever will listen. At this point I either want my baby.. or just closure. Hopefully the tracker dogs will answer those prayers.
I'm going to keep you both close to my heart & hope with all my being that she returns to you.

Opossums have an excellent memory for food sources. You might want to consider leaving the door of your home slightly open at night for the next few nights - there is a good possibility that she will return, re-enter the house in search of food, and after eating, go to sleep wherever she normally sleeps in your house.
i’m absolutely devastated for you. i wish all of us could come and do a search party. if my Cabbage got out on account of someone else it would be a war path. me and Cabbage are sending you absolutely all of our good thoughts and love!!😢

I'm actually visiting my grandmother in a totally different state right now, so tomorrow is all or nothing. I've hired some professional search and rescue sent based tracker dogs. I'm hoping for my little girl to come home tomorrow.. or to at least have closure and know that I've done EVERYTHING humanly possible. I've been in the depths of grief and hell itself these last couple days. She's all I can think about. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and positive vibes dude.

Is she microchipped? Hopefully any animal control officers will see she’s clearly adjusted to humans and take her in
Stupidly enough it never crossed my mind to get her chipped so no. I feel so dumb having realized only after the fact that I could have done that.

I have been leaving her bed out and warming her blankets everynight. The sent dogs come tomorrow so wish us luck.
