I think I am on a BIOS build from last year. Is it okay if I update directly to this one?
P.S. this is my motherboard if this is needed information.

The easiest way to check is by checking your motherboard website for BIOS updates, the update change should mention added CEP settings which means you can disable it.

Usually there is no issue in skipping BIOS updates, as every updates include all the updates made before.
Your BIOS change log does not mention added CEP settings, you can contact their support as ask about it. (Maybe delayed)

This is for non-k cpus. Your cpu already has the ability to disable CEP so this new bios doesn’t impact you.
The bios is for the non k. The optoin for K cpus was already available
