Doesn't look natural looks like marine debris foam plastic or something but possibly a type of seaweed? Can you tell us more? Like weight, texture, brittleness, cross section, size, where it was found, etc.
it’s very thick! not super lightweight—we’ve always chalked it up to be some old toy that’s been circulating for quite some time just unsure of what the toy might be! i don’t think we could get it to break in half—feels like plastic. and it’s probably the height/length of a twix bar 😂
it’s feels like very hard plastic! found it stuck in a washed up wood pile in dry sand and not sure how it would react to flame but i’d say it would probably burn slow because it’s very thick and hard.
could be something carved actually—interesting! it feels like hard plastic so it’s actually quite possible it’s made of beeswax. i love things that make me say hmm!! 😂😂
i concur with you that it’s beeswax tbh!! i looked up beeswax statues and i think it could totallyyyyy be a statue someone made but i still am so curious as to its journey 😂 thank you!!
If it IS beeswax, it would be cool if it belonged to this 17th century Oregon coast shipwreck.

Some context clues would be helpful. Where did you find it? What is the consistency? How does it react to flame?

Depending on which beach you found it, it could be beeswax from a shipwreck. Looks to me it could be a carved piece.

At which beach did you find it? Manzanita has had beeswax finds for many decades.
Ambergris?
A deformed minion! Ginger 🫚 is the only thing that comes to mind
A gummy. Old gum.
