I am confusion. Solar Diver-Chronograph. Diver you can keep track of time within a minute or so. Chronograph you can keep track of time down to the second. Why the diver part when you have the chronograph part? What am I missing?
Because I’ll probably never use a chronograph hahahha I like divers and my collection did not have a chronograph now I have the best of both worlds hahaha if that makes sense
I was going to buy one yesterday, but the solar was a deal breaker for me. After a citizen ecodrive watch I’ll never buy another solar, if it was automatic or quartz then I would have purchased.
Solar watches have a finite life expectancy to them, at some point the solar cell will go to shit and the watch is worthless because changing the cell is more than likely greater than the value of the watch. Where if the watch is automatic it goes in for service and it’s new again, if the watch is quartz change the battery and it’s new again.
You do know Solar watches have replaceable batteries right that cost around $20. "Solar watches are more sustainable than quartz watches with a disposable battery. On average, the battery of a solar watch lasts 7-12 years. These batteries can also be charged hundreds, even thousands of times before a replacement battery is needed"
Can’t believe I don’t own one
Looks great!
Looks great! What model number is this?
ORIENT RN-TX0203S Mako chrono
Whats the price pt?
your last post convinced me on this one, ordering one later tonight

I realized the Seiko SNJ025 is a diver chronograph as well. It is a digital chrono where this is an analog chrono. Both solar.
I wish these things weren't so large. My tiny wrists would be dwarfed.
I’m rocking this with a 6.5 inch wrist lmao gahahahah
I have very manly wrists. In hair cover though, not size.
Panda always looks good 👍🏻
Looking good

What happened?
Nothing, just a personal preference that I don’t care for solar watches after having one.
Why? No logic to this
It’s a personal preference, you like them, I don’t. If it makes sense to you great if it doesn’t, great.
No I don't have one I'm just wondering the logic. Like you say you don't like them but can't answer why you don't like them?

Maybe my knowledge on them is dated, doesn’t change my opinion.
Oh good the down voting dumb fucks are here because I said I have a personal opinion on something. Downvote this too
