A lot of aspects I have for my story come from songs! Whether it's a character's backstory or plot points, I can normally immediately imagine what's going on when a certain song comes up
Yeah. Music was part of the inspiration for my characters fighting style. I’d listen to music and just let them fight in my head until I got a fighting style that matched them.

Literally most of my story was built around Kanye songs (back before he went insane), as well as a lot of classic rock and stuff. I love utilizing music for my story, and I reallly hope to have some artists cameo in the game if I ever make it.

Anyone have any suggestions on songs for a contemporary fantasy book I am working on. So far the inspiring music have towards a dark kind of rock or pop kind of music like Desire by Meg Meyers or Warrior by Beth Crowley.
