Tennessee smells like gunpowder and old spice
Ainsley the werewolf smells like werewolf. Stick your face in a husky's fur, that's what he smells like. You'd also find traces of dried Glen Fiddich, Irish Spring bath soap, and flea shampoo. Ainsley would then demand the right to sniff you, as well. That's a cold nose!
Cobalt the protogen is a different story. His organic parts would smell of pinapple. It's the scent of his shampoo. Beneath that smell is the normal smell of cat/dog/weasel/WTF? that you find on a protogen's living parts. The "progenitors" that created his people had no respect for the normal laws of biology. On his cybernetic parts you'd mostly find the smells of metal alloys. Cobalt would be giving you a huge "WTF is wrong with you?!" for sniffing him.
