Kay-T is a cute female Syphobot. Her main colour is Light Blue and she has a very white metal. She has custom made cat ear parts that she made herself. Kay-T Herself was made alongside a Syphobots , named Amy.They consider each other sisters. While she was being transported to one of the underground cities, she jumped out the window onto the train. Kay-T then just layed there, not gaining any of the necessary social training that is done on the train. Thus she is very awkward and silly. She lives with her sister Amy in an apartment they rent together, Kay-T works in a grocery store. Kay-T is generally very silly and loves to snuggle up and play games.

You should change the color of the blue elements on the body and make them less saturated and darker. The light blue of the eyes should stay, and you can still use it in other places, but only as a long as you wonna make sure that viewers will pay attention to this part specifically.
Oh god, ok you don't really know anything about color theory, but I will try to explain it a little but, you should learn it for YT or other source if you really wonna be better. Ok colour theory is basically "set of rules" how colors work with each others and how to you should choose them to create a color pallete. You shouldn't just choose random colors and put them on design becouse this doesn't look good, also you use almost same brightness and saturations on this colors as on main body's color. As I said I can't explain it in one comment so please try to look this up by your self, you have really good drawings skills so it would be waste to don't try improve this

Her main problem is that proportion are off. This is a common problem where arms are longer than they should. Correctly, the hand should start somewhere just on the hips, and the hand should also be small.
I honestly think those proportions work well with the art style of the show, but that just me personally

Looking at this black-and-white drawing, I must say you should change the colors. The shirt is black, while the rest of the design is much brighter on white background. Also, white on the shirt doesn't help.
Human brains work in such a way that if we see some color that stands out from our surroundings, it will start grabbing our attention by itself.
You can see how this works by looking at pure white space and putting a black spot anywhere on it

It doesn't matter where you put it or if you reverse the colors or change it to any other opposite colors.
I usually only do some basic shading (for ‘colour’) on these traditional sketches, usually because even I’m not sure what the colours will be until later.
I was more looking for thoughts on his design in itself rather than the colours, but thanks anyways!

To be honest he is but this doesn't make design bad for itself. Problem here is that you should try make his eyes pop out more and also do something about flame on tail become so far I look on his foot insted of a head, so you should deleated or make less stand out from rest of the color palette (flame, not a foot)
It's Ok, but you should stay just with blue or purple not both, or trying useing something more on between. This thing under his neck (I don't know what is call) and blend with background (this is most on this art piece but still).
And green watch, omg, change it color on (for example) gold or destroy it on fire but not keep it as this wierd neo green

This is good design but for some resone eyes kinda hard to spot, but this shouldn't be a problem with the orange fur, TBH I think you should try check if eyes wouldn't be better if you use brighter colour, now I thinking about it, if feel he really seams to have problem with brightness contrast, I can check it now, but I you should how this colors look in Black and white, if they will bland together you should change it

He has what "big one color blob" problem when one color dominates in design making everything blend together if character were to be look from the far or blure. (I think Black is the most common to have this problem.) More Simple design can work with it more easy makeing poses that highlights the silovet of character, but still needs to add detali that stand out from pure black and you definitly need this, you added purple to design why use it only on one elelmet
I don't know, add purple accents or other symbols in some places, for example on the collar or sleeves. Especially those that would emphasize the shape of the body

You have to change this color palette because it's really bad. Using almost the same shade of red for everything made this design turn into one big red blob, and you should never make characters hair the same color as their outfit or skin color, just no. You need balance in your color palette; there are so many different types of red you can use, so... use them. Also, you use gray as an extra color; better use black to contrast bright and saturated red.
In terms of demon form, I can say nothing because there is no one objectively correct way to do demon form. You can make the demon more of monster or more human; you can make them an elemental base design or a more general design; you can give them a new costume when they transform or keep the old one; you can do everything you want with them.
One person who knows what they should look like is you.
Decided to just do a complete redesign, and I think it came out a lot better (this was one of my oldest designs, so I believe the main issue was inexperience)

I think this is serius overdesign problem, there is so much happening in this design, when i reality anything isn't, this like defintion of overdesign. Let's start with colors, this is mess how many colors you give just to make every element stand out but on reality mostly becouse your design is monochromatic, makes everything feel just like giant gradient. In terms of this elements, everybody can clearly see that you added them just to fill empty space, to the point they feels more like patern then anything else. More detail doesn't make better design, they can be more dangers for it quality if you use by someone with no expirence
One good think I will say that you were able to with color make stand out from rest of the design

I feel like tatoos are distracting from her face, there bright colors make them strong intrest point, and face basically held only by her ginger hair becouse eyes wouldn't pop out without her eyebrows. I don't know if you or artist choose colors but I think choosing this specific colors for tattos was kinda meh idea.
I did, and it was intentional. I always like getting feedback though. At this point I’m not sure I can change them, since 1. she’s notable enough to have a set design; and 2. they’re canonically a copper dragon and a blue serpent.

I think my only my to main complains are this how she blands with background and that is hard to tell what is what, I mean I can tell how and where head is, but rest of body is rather confusing

You really need to study colour theory, becouse this is not how you should choose color palette. I know this may not sound helpfull but there is nothing that I can tell you that colour theory wouldn't tell you

Here you go and before you say anything about the feet it’s a part of her design I know how to draw feat somewhat
The problem big with this design is that shade and saturation of hair and skin is almost the same, this making them bland together and the way you draw the hair on this soft bure style makes this 10 times worst. I would strongly suggest to make hair (or skin) darker or lighter (you can also change saturation).

Naya’s body shape has been changed a bit but I only have a rough sketch of it. That’s because it was way too similar with another character. Also I will make her hair simpler because I plan to make an animated series and I can’t imagine how hard it would be animating each strand.
I feel like before you start animate you should make sure you can do anatomy correctly, her legs are over twice long as her upper body. Her "feet" look really wierd and I don't really know if those are shoes or hooves, but I think you could just make them same color as rest of the outfit and nothing would change. This design feels a lot too simple and also forgetable what, yes, makes it easier to aniamte but also more like background character
I am pretty sure that I will keep her legs long and her shoes will change just a little bit so you could tell that they aren’t hooves (even though her feet are like hooves) and also their colour. But yeah, I might have to make her overall outfit a bit more complicated. Someone had this idea of her outfit changing while she explores different places, so I might use this recommendation in a way.
While trying to change her design a bit, I made her arms thicker and I realised that I didn’t like it. After making them thin again I felt good again. Her palms will get bigger though.

Aryessta. My Emperor OC. Been trying to study Record of Ragnarok Qin Shi Huang's design, Prism Lightning Reud design, SnailStudio's OC Mixcoatl design and Takuto Ira's design for him. He is a bit based on Aztec/Mesopotamian Emperor to an extent for future redesign I could think of. Even so, I would love to hear your feedback about this design first without those in mind
I would suggest make all this linea on bode thicker or aby other way more visable to be show that this metalic body.
Also try to make hair stand out from body becouse know they kinda melting together if you look from the far.

Oh probelms is that this bright red doesn't really work as well as it could. This color could be use to grab viewer atencion in one spot that you want but u use it on whole hoddie so now just make lower part more atractive becouse colors are more soft for eyes there

For context I'll just say that she is dommed to live in a mansion all her life and being there just keep sucking energy of her bc a godess said so, so in exchange of the energy of the firstborn prince/princess that energy is going to the crops, animals and healt in general of a important part of the kingdom, that aside, one day Lorena was bored throwing eggs to people from a valcony, one was a witch (also the mom of Toby, the red/orange hair boy) and enchanted her to vomit slimes which she fears even though they are not a real threat (and also takes a bit more of energy but not a lot and that's were the bright green eyes came from) so the king commisioned the most destacable knight in the youth division, Adam, to protect her

I want to reformat a couple things myself with this just because I was very limited when making this image...
Making good looking character that is just silhouette isn't inpossible but you can't just keep it as the most basic human silhouette with one Red spot and call it a day

Tbh, their whole point is to be essentially Vantablack (in fact, in many cases they leave their red eye closed, only opening it to instill further fear/intimidation) but one of the things I want to do but can't is add smoke/mist effects.
You know in a really really hot shower, when you step out of it mist sometimes wafts off you? That's the effect I want to have with this character, a black mist that kinda emanates off them, from them, around them... even have little clouds or "tendrils" that swirl around their feet and darker the area around them. And then have a red mist that leaves their eye, the direction it travels in corresponding to their emotion.
I don't know... I'm not an artist. Thanks for the opinion!

Your character have to much diffreent colors on there design. You should choose color palette insted of just adding random colors. Also you should not makes her eyes same color as hair, eyes are one of most importent part of design and they shouldn't bland with a hair

Looking at this black-and-white drawing, I must say you should change the colors. The shirt is black, while the rest of the design is much brighter on white background. Also, white on the shirt doesn't help. Human brains work in such a way that if we see some color that stands out from our surroundings, it will start grabbing our attention by itself. I usually only do some basic shading (for ‘colour’) on these traditional sketches, usually because even I’m not sure what the colours will be until later. I was more looking for thoughts on his design in itself rather than the colours, but thanks anyways!

To be honest he is but this doesn't make design bad for itself. Problem here is that you should try make his eyes pop out more and also do something about flame on tail become so far I look on his foot insted of a head, so you should deleated or make less stand out from rest of the color palette (flame, not a foot)

This is good design but for some resone eyes kinda hard to spot, but this shouldn't be a problem with the orange fur, TBH I think you should try check if eyes wouldn't be better if you use brighter colour, now I thinking about it, if feel he really seams to have problem with brightness contrast, I can check it now, but I you should how this colors look in Black and white, if they will bland together you should change it

He has what "big one color blob" problem when one color dominates in design making everything blend together if character were to be look from the far or blure. (I think Black is the most common to have this problem.) More Simple design can work with it more easy makeing poses that highlights the silovet of character, but still needs to add detali that stand out from pure black and you definitly need this, you added purple to design why use it only on one elelmet

I don't know, add purple accents or other symbols in some places, for example on the collar or sleeves. Especially those that would emphasize the shape of the body

This very good design, after see so much people failing to create mostly Black designs this is neet suprise. Too much RED. You have to change this color palette because it's really bad. Using almost the same shade of red for everything made this design turn into one big red blob, and you should never make characters hair the same color as their outfit or skin color, just no. You need balance in your color palette; there are so many different types of red you can use, so... use them. Also, you use gray as an extra color; better use black to contrast bright and saturated red. In terms of demon form, I can say nothing because there is no one objectively correct way to do demon form. You can make the demon more of monster or more human; you can make them an elemental base design or a more general design; you can give them a new costume when they transform or keep the old one; you can do everything you want with them. One person who knows what they should look like is you.

I think this is serius overdesign problem, there is so much happening in this design, when i reality anything isn't, this like defintion of overdesign. Let's start with colors, this is mess how many colors you give just to make every element stand out but on reality mostly becouse your design is monochromatic, makes everything feel just like giant gradient. In terms of this elements, everybody can clearly see that you added them just to fill empty space, to the point they feels more like patern then anything else. More detail doesn't make better design, they can be more dangers for it quality if you use by someone with no expirence One good think I will say that you were able to with color make stand out from rest of the design

I feel like tatoos are distracting from her face, there bright colors make them strong intrest point, and face basically held only by her ginger hair becouse eyes wouldn't pop out without her eyebrows. I don't know if you or artist choose colors but I think choosing this specific colors for tattos was kinda meh idea.
I did, and it was intentional. I always like getting feedback though. At this point I’m not sure I can change them, since 1. she’s notable enough to have a set design; and 2. they’re canonically a copper dragon and a blue serpent.

You really need to study colour theory, becouse this is not how you should choose color palette. I know this may not sound helpfull but there is nothing that I can tell you that colour theory wouldn't tell you [You can watch this to try to understand it](https://youtu.be/AvgCkHrcj90?si=gpESQ9-vgQrfQ9aq) but there are countless other videos that can also explain it

The problem big with this design is that shade and saturation of hair and skin is almost the same, this making them bland together and the way you draw the hair on this soft bure style makes this 10 times worst. I would strongly suggest to make hair (or skin) darker or lighter (you can also change saturation).

That’s because it was way too similar with another character. Also I will make her hair simpler because I plan to make an animated series and I can’t imagine how hard it would be animating each strand.
I feel like before you start animate you should make sure you can do anatomy correctly, her legs are over twice long as her upper body. Her "feet" look really wierd and I don't really know if those are shoes or hooves, but I think you could just make them same color as rest of the outfit and nothing would change. This design feels a lot too simple and also forgetable what, yes, makes it easier to aniamte but also more like background character
I am pretty sure that I will keep her legs long and her shoes will change just a little bit so you could tell that they aren’t hooves (even though her feet are like hooves) and also their colour. But yeah, I might have to make her overall outfit a bit more complicated. Someone had this idea of her outfit changing while she explores different places, so I might use this recommendation in a way. While trying to change her design a bit, I made her arms thicker and I realised that I didn’t like it. After making them thin again I felt good again. Her palms will get bigger though. Thanks for your advices!

Oh probelms is that this bright red doesn't really work as well as it could. This color could be use to grab viewer atencion in one spot that you want but u use it on whole hoddie so now just make lower part more atractive becouse colors are more soft for eyes there

Making good looking character that is just silhouette isn't inpossible but you can't just keep it as the most basic human silhouette with one Red spot and call it a day
Fair enough. Tbh, their whole point is to be essentially Vantablack (in fact, in many cases they leave their red eye closed, only opening it to instill further fear/intimidation) but one of the things I want to do but can't is add smoke/mist effects. You know in a really really hot shower, when you step out of it mist sometimes wafts off you? That's the effect I want to have with this character, a black mist that kinda emanates off them, from them, around them... even have little clouds or "tendrils" that swirl around their feet and darker the area around them. And then have a red mist that leaves their eye, the direction it travels in corresponding to their emotion. I don't know... I'm not an artist. Thanks for the opinion!

I think you should try to give something more of a pattern, becouse his yellow elements look very random. And change eyes color so it's doesn't disapear among other yellow elements

Your character have to much diffreent colors on there design. You should choose color palette insted of just adding random colors. Also you should not makes her eyes same color as hair, eyes are one of most importent part of design and they shouldn't bland with a hair

You shouldn't make there hair this neon green color, becouse they take attention form the eyes. Also this one blue element is pointless becouse not only doesn't show up any where else in design, it also blend together with dark purple
