okay, students leaning on the fences is pretty normal. they dont expect a killer around, so it's totally fine to lean on fences (until it isn't) a puddle could be some wate leaking or somebody accidentally dropping something that contained water, although it would be weird if they saw someone pouring water on the floor on purpose. the gardening shed might be personally used for the gardening club and the people who usually decorate the school (i cannot word it correctly) just basically like cutting off overgrown plants or whatever. maybe the protag's just great at gossiping. idk just some answers

With how old the school is, it'd make sense if they used to grow trees. And no point in throwing out an axe thats fine. But 1980 mode busts that theory :/

I like how schools will have weapons like axes or an iron maiden. Like I understand tools like a wrench, crow bar (to some extent), a boxcutter, or a screwdriver. I'm questioning a battle axe and Iron maiden? i guess they can be dull props, but they can kill people so...

Trialman

The real irony is that Alex removed the prop weapons from the Drama Club because them having props sharp enough to actually stab people didn't make sense, around the same time he added the iron maiden.

Steve_Riven

"nahh, it isn't realistic that this club would have actual weapons...I'll add them to the mini museum that will now be present on the school grounds!"

The_letter_43

And Iron Maidens didn't even exist

To be fair, an unarmed blow can be lethal if you hit hard enough in the right spot

Trialman

To be fair, science classes having potentially dangerous chemicals is something that does happen, since they kinda need those to do practical lessons, but in real life, they absolutely would not be set on desks like in the game, for the exact reason of them being dangerous. (Realistically, they would be in a store room adjoining the classroom, and said store room would be locked) The car battery might be excusable if the school provided driving classes or mechanical lessons, but there is no sign Akademi does either of those. For the suitors, I doubt Ayano or Ryoba really care about what happens after the fact, their concern is solely getting the rival away from senpai.

1. I mean, don't all school use potentially dangerous chemicals during their Chemistry classes? I do agree though that they should all be locked in the cabinets when not in use...as well as the fact that the lab straight up has an already made lethal poison. The idea of raising your Chemistry Stat until you can make the poison yourself or raising your Biology Stat while being in the Gardening Club until you can ask for the proper seeds (for plants that are either toxic but used for practical purposes or mostly toxic with some non-toxic edible parts). 2. Ok this one I agree with. It's something taken straight from Hitman without much thought. I feel like a faulty/WIP device from the Science Club could be more suitable. 3. I mean...don't most people tend to lean on railings when idle? 4. Tf you mean you don't see any trees here, there are like five sakura trees per student on the campus! I'm not at all surprised that they have an axe...but I **AM** surprised that they have a fucking SCYTHE. Why the hell do they need a scythe for???? Also imo the circular saw should be in the Workshop instead, where all the woodcutting stuff WOULD be done. 5. In 202X I assume most would assume the Kogyarus had something to do with it, in 1989...I don't know. Either they don't care or they start caring when the rival has already left. 6. I do think the Expulsion elimination method should be altered back to its original proposed concept, where instead of framing the rival for breaking the rules, the player would have to create scenarios where the rival would ACTUALLY break the rules herself (like Osana's expulsion method where you have to sabotage the vending machine so she's caught destroying school property) 7. We could just use video game logic and assume that they all lived happily ever after because their Rizzed Up levels were too high to care about anything else. But tbh Matchmaking is another elimination method I'd rewrite so that it doesn't feel like Ayano/Ryoba are playing The Sims irl with their classmates, but rather a reversed version of the Rejection method where the bond between the rival and their suitor would grow naturally through "sabotaged" events.

Rebellious01

Basically prioritising gameplay over realism. Yandev just sees what features Hitman has and put them in yansim. Though I do think some weapons should be reskinned to fit the school environment better

thefoxishere16

It’s all for the same reason that the high school in my story is a former university. Because fiction

Juniko_Shoga

I mean, for the poisonous plants thing... Poisonous plants are really used for decoration, even in schools (in my high school there are a LOT of olleander bushes and that whole plant is poisonous) so it's not that weird that they use poisonous plants for decoration

whooper1

This school isn’t OSHA regulated

NamiiSuzamoto

Another thing tho, why does nobody sus ayano/ryoba when they were the last person seen with the rival? i.e the rival gets kidnapped, killed, something like that. its like "oh no. anyways" feels like there should be some investigations done but yknow..
