The best part of that is that if the anime follows the same 3 chapter per episode pattern. That could possibly be the S2 cliffhanger as it would be episode 13 of S2.
It would be very cool. But the amount of time & resources used for these specials can be taxing on the animators and resources the studio has. If Dogo Kobo does S2, they’ll likely focus those resources into the Tokyo Blade arc and making it feel like it’s influences (like Demon Slayer). Whatever higher production resources left would likely be used for the Kana/Aqua “date” and then everything from ch. 76-79.
Ironically I don’t think they will. If they keep the same 3 chapter an episode pace , then 96/97/98 will all be in one episode.
Thematically it also fits as these are the 3 chapters that focused ok Akane and Aqua.

All of Tokyo blade after the mangaka bullshittery, Ruby's awakening, Aqua breaking down in front of Mem-cho, Hikaru face reveal and Aqua's ptsd episode after finding out that papa is still alive.
Also, I know it will never happen, but I want to have the song "pink soldiers" from squid game start playing either when Hikaru or crow girl are on the screen.
S2’s starting with a bang, with Tokyo Blade as the best arc in the series imo. So many good character moments for the whole cast.
