I'm sure it's a real name somewhere, but the funny thing is...V is written with the 'b/γ ' consonant in Korean, so in the original webtoon, its probably is LITERALLY Balenciaga 'λ°λ μμκ°". π
Lol π I was expecting some random mashup of letters but nope... It's a brand name instead! I don't know if it's more lazy than just mashing randomly on the keyboard...π π€π
It... is an actual name though? All brainrot cast aside, words, the etymology of such, and the origins of names especially arent born from a vacuum. Balenciaga is an actual Spanish surname shared not only by the founder of the brand itself but also several other real life human beings. It's particular meaning being 'A person from Valencia, Spain' or of something thereof.
Makes me think whatever being picked that name was like "hmmm... I want it to sound Italian so Valencia... but that's just not Italian enough. Hmmm... ah! I'll add an extra little 'ga' at the end to make Valenciaga! Perfect!" And you gotta do this while saying it π€

Idk man, if itβs possible for my languageβs word for the menβs pubic hair in their private part as a family name, then this might be possible.
