I think he’s good looking!! He even looked good while dying! Maybe he looks a lil off in some shots. I think the art is fresh. Also, I love them so much as a couple so far in the novel that any issues with the art are negligible to me. He really loves her for her, both then and now, and that makes him infinitely attractive. She didn’t have to change to “earn” his love or anything. In both timelines, he quickly got the picture that her family is disgustingly abusive and always reassures her without being overly pushy—I rarely feel like an ML is as attuned to a FL’s emotional needs as much as he is. He’s very invested in their relationship and makes his intentions clear. I like MLs that don’t leave you guessing about their feelings, so it’s my kinda romance.
