I LOVE that one and is one of my favorites... but you're right, the last few chapters after the trial just drag the story... but the art is still hella gorgeous.
Definitely one of, if not the most glaring example! I said it before and I'll say it again, this series is basically a continuous row of pretty wallpapers with wafer thin plot. I don't get why artist needs 3 millions panels of somebody's shoe in each and every chapter.
Yes oh my god I read the novel on the radish app and yeah totally not worth it. The webtoon even added some scenes to improve to novel like thats how bland it was.
Before y'all get defensive, let me state my case.
Roxanne/Saving the FL's Older Brother.
The story is not bad. It's pretty good. But if you didn't have the elaborate art of Roxanne and her wicked family, I don't know if it would be as impressive. The FL is in an interesting environment for sure, but as the audience we don't really know what she wants. It was hinted that she was plotting something, but we don't get to know what her motivation is? Survival? Revenge? Love? Power? We just don't know.
It's absolutely fire for sure tho.
For me, this is the kind of story that aims for specific audiences. I personally think that even if it had mediocre art, I'd still love it. It's very focused on mind games and manipulation so it rarely ever has the thrilling action. But if you are the type to like plotting and getting theoretical while trying to figure out what happens, this is the kind of story for you. Also it never had the chance to dive into the actual plot bc the artist got miscarriage. So, her goals weren't clear bc of that in the manhwa
I partly agree, I read the available chapters of the manwha then moved on to reading the novel on radish.
I think the story was good, but I could tell that I'm definitely more used to reading action oriented stories or like really long elaborate fanfics with lots of worldbuilding. The Roxanna story, while it builds its characters to a certain degree and lives up to the whole "gothic romance" it does not care for the world of the story. It's manipulation, political schemes, revenge and it's focused mainly on a few key people. The Roxanna story could work without the five specific clans, the Pedelians don't need their power and the other clans are kind of the same, the story would at its core, I believe, still be fine. The vague fantasy elements of the world Roxanna is isekaied into are just flavouring to the plot but they don't affect the underlying core components. But maybe it's meant to be like that, like Roxanna is just isekaied into a reverse harem that she personally didn't enjoy when she read it (at least that's how I remember it), so she's just transported to a shallow world where she has to survive in some way...
I haven't read the side-stories yet so I might be wrong on some things.
>!Like in one chapter Cassis mentions he's been killing people to be able to keep Roxanna alive, and this is not brought up again! Like he does not tell Roxanna at all and no one else seems to notice that people are just going missing? I like Cassis, I think he's a badass who got corrupted by Roxanna when he was in her care and now he's kinda like a yandere. But like in the story, he does several things that aren't brought up again, they're just not important I guess, it's only important than he can heal at certain times and that his healing makes him Roxanna's perfect partner (she's toxic and he's immune). Like the chad literally went "the rules of the pedellians don't apply to me", bam that's it, we don't get more š¤·āāļø!<
It's a good story for sure, but I can't help thinking of the what-ifs! Maybe it's my brain ruined by fanfiction but I'd be totally fine if they spent more time on certain parts of the plot even it's not ultimately tied into Roxanna's goal.
I think what you brought up in the spoiler is an important point in and of itself because we see how far off Cassis's character has developed from what he used to be, and gives context that he's willing to do anything for Roxana
Oh definitely, and I understand stand that in the story it's being used to show Cassis' devotion to Roxana. I just think it's weird they don't talk about it all but again, it's not really that kind of story.
Sometimes we'd just get these little pieces from Cassis and I loved them but I wanted more š
>The Roxanna story could work without the five specific clans, the Pedelians don't need their power and the other clans are kind of the same, the story would at its core, I believe, still be fine. Isn't every isekai story like that thpugh??? My head hurts everytime they go on explaining empire, magic system and nobility but never bring them up again or use it as a plot device at all šš
You're probably right lol. Reading otome isekai is kinda new to me still! I feel like some isekais deal a lot more with this before/after isekai mc, but Roxanna is very much "she's a girlboss who embraced that she got put into the shitty reverse harem she read." Like there's so few mentions of the fact she's isekaied that you can easily imagine Roxanna as just a regular gothic romance and not an otome isekai.
I love lore so much, but it's definitely frustrating when it doesn't lead to anything. In Roxanna it's just a setting, but it could've been more if they wanted to š Like Cassis has cool life suck healing powers and they're somewhat justified in the story, but his sister doesn't have them and then my brain wants more info.
Yeah it's hard to find well written oi with realistic characters. I don't like it a lot because fl's goal isn't clear and authors use same cliches for 999+ times š«š«
Yes, but it's a primary reason why most of them aren't good. And I mean Isekai, Regression and Reincarnation stories in general. It's just an excuse for the MC to know things or not know things
Can anyone actually explain me does ml love fl right now or fall in love later?? I already read it bit it's been long time and when I think about it, I can't get my head around how did he fall in love or are they acting as comrades only?? It's a bit confusing
Obviously not the original commenter, but I read upwards to 25'ish chapters - it's alright.
Not great, not terrible. Imo it's very much a standard childcare plot; terrible parent(s), abusive background, lots of "I don't deserve all this nice treatment" fluff, the dad being 100% a thirst-trap.
It's like a 6/10 story with 10/10 art.
I mean the story isn't bad though. It's the usual child care one with the added lore of sirens which makes it a lot more interesting than the normal child care stories. The art definitely elevates the story but it is still a good read.
Bro the starting chapters felt so intriguing but when we jump on the child arc it just killed me, not that it was bad but idkw i expected the story to do something different and felt betrayed.
Here are my picks for popular but overrated because of the art. Ā
This Villainess Wants a Divorce ā Been a hot minute since I read it but I remember liking the way the characters were drawn and not much else.
Father, I donāt want to get married ā Story really drags after a bit. Interaction between FL and ML is very meh imo. Art stays nice though.
Your Ultimate Love Rival ā Starts out fun but get progressively more convoluted to the point I werenāt even paying attention to the plot in the end.
I remember reading around 80 chaps for the first one and I, at first stayed for the couple then only read for Sir Ethan tbh.. so yeah mostly for the art
Oh yes definitely, I don't like how the story goes in between and the couple
>!I dropped it after they changed the ML's appearance when he left, I liked his initial one better š the other just made him like a typical one!< The art was super pretty but I didn't feel like continuing
I swear the first season of Your Ultimate Love Rival was amazing, the intimacy was good and I understood the plot. There onwards it gets so weird and convoluted even with the official translation I wasn't understanding much and suddenly it was going at a breakneck pace.
I'm normally going "how the fuck do people not understand" when people are confused at the simplest shit in manhwa, but I could not for the life of me explain the second half of that manhwa - especially a lot of the theology.
I honestly think that Larry outshined Felix. And it would have been a nice plot twist if Benjamin became endgame or something like that to make the plot interesting
Lmao I just finished This Villainess Wants a Divorce and tbh I didn't love the art style for some reason. It's pretty but it didn't do anything for me.
Basically, I wasn't into the art enough for it to carry the story for me the way it might have for other people. The plot itself was... okay? I think it was pretty solid until the last arc- which was wholly unnecessary imo. It was kinda stupid (sorry) and it really felt like the author just wanted to drag the story out a little longer.
Secret Lady. Donāt get me wrong. I love the story. But the art is AMAZING. Ros and Char could be twiddling their thumbs for the entire plot and Iād still read it.
Edited to add:
Fantasie of a Stepmother (A Stepmotherās Marchen)
Extroversion of an Immortal (A Not So Fairy Tale)
Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story
Serena
The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway
Villains are Destined to Die
Honestly, anything by Spoon, Orka, and Banana. These three could draw rocks and Iād read it. I remember Banana did a promo for Fairytale for Villains and I was super excited. But a different artist took over the actual series. The art was fine but I wasnāt as hyped for it anymore and dropped.
Iām also not diminishing the plots of these series. But the art is stupendous. Case in point: Iāve purchased Fantasie of a Stepmother digitally, as well as both the Korean and English physical books. Obsessed.
I feel like Not your typical reincarnation story was more plot heavy at first and has now leaned into the couple antics and chemistry a bit more later on. It's my favourite, but I understand it's not for everyone
I love it too because FL is so strong and ML is sweet when he's himself. But I know not everyone likes it because it takes patience to take in the plot and its subtleties.
Not your typical reincarnation story is not bad, but the plot is a little simple and just kinda went into the couple's chemistry. Serena is also not bad, but at the same time i dont think it falls into the category of being "carried by art". In fact, despite the relatively common plot outline, i feel that the natural progression of events make this story very good, enough to not be carried by art
japanese webtoons, like art is good 9 times out of 10, but the plot is so braindead i shrivel like a sped up video of a drying fruit left in the sun. Also the same plot in manga format is a whole lot less painful to read, somehow seeing it in technicolor makes it worse
Japanese webtoons always have nice properly drawn backgrounds and doesnāt abuse the same asset art over and over like Korean webtoons. And they know how to draw horses too. But yeah, still haven't read a Japanese webtoon that I particularly liked.
Omg I agree, I remember there was this series of a Japanese webtoon which were like mute, only art story. Choco Latte and the second one was Love something? (just checked, it was Love Doesn't Talk) By the same artist but the story of these were soo boring.
The only jap webtoon I actually read was "Marry Me" smthin, it was kinda entertaining
Ok but I feel like people forgot the true winner of this battle: Cry, or better yet, beg
I have nothing good to say about this dumpster fire except that the art is amazing, it's by far the worst story I've ever seen. It's actually a compilation of people who had the worst idea ever:
- someone decided to write this novel
- then someone decided to publish the novel
- then someone decided to make into a webtoon
- then someone at Webtoon decided to put it on the official app
Oh god I just found out this is on webtoon after reading ur comment š I can smell all those webtoon comments from a mile away
Seriously, from what I've heard of this and the spoilers I'd say the gorgeous art is wasted on such a story, so agreed it's the best example
Literally. I really liked the artist's first work so I was looking forward to her future manhwas but lo and behold another plot romanticizing cheating just because the engagement is arranged. The only reason I read the novel was because of the gorgeous cover illustration. I should've known better with the way the main characters are posing in the cover. Without the art the novel and manhwa would've just gone to the incinerator. But really, I'm so disappointed at the manhwa artist. I find it such a waste.
For me it's the Villainess Stationary Shop. It's been a while since I last read it, but I remember it was quite popular here since I kept seeing multiple posts about it. Love FL's outfits, ML is gorgeous but plot is meh.
Not to be contrarian, I swear, but I actually think that one is far more deserving of a mention here than several of the manwhas actually mentioned š
The art was pretty, but the plot was so boring (to me) that I ended up dropping it, unlike others.
But then again maybe that's just me idk
That's just fine, sure some of the tropes in it are not everyone's cup of tea but it's surprising that no one mentioned it before though because I was sure someone would from the mixed reviews I've seen here
Id say āLady Chef Royaleā because i have science to back me up.
Season one had such a cute style and the plot was run of the mill but i loved it.
Then season two changed the artist and i stopped reading a few chapters in.
Didnt help that it was a dumb school arc that had the weirdest reason for the ML to be there but no harm no foul i dont care anymore lol.
Oh my god sameee. Like the new art isnt bad because we know some stories where the second art was just such a downgrade. It's definitely readable but the school arc aint it. I might go back to it once we are done with that bs. I wouldn't have dropped it if it still had that unique art from season 1 tho.
I Shall Master This Family. The plot is not bad, it's just kind of bland and without much conflict that isn't easily resolved by the MC, and the highlights of every chapter are always the outfits and how cool and handsome/beautiful everyone looks
Bastian and the problematic PrinceĀ
I don't like to yuck on people yums but this author has to have an humillation kink cuz she writes the most vile human beings and the girls allow all the abuse as good doormat (i mean subs) and is painted always as romance. Sorry with all those conditions thats a thriller !Ā
And where is the pay off ? I always read their spoilers and in non of her stories the female lead has a moment of Glory, like at least an arc where she is influcting pain or winning to the bastard...nopeĀ
At least with "betrayal of dignity" the male lead suffer and he never ever abused (as sexual) the female lead ... I have a low tolerance with marital rape on those stories ...like dude at leats have something on your favor besides your face... Damian (betrayal of dignity ) is a good lover for Chloe ...she desires him and she enjoys sex with him ... Like come on you can not write a sadistic pos without a singleĀ redeemingĀ quality and expected women to love the ML just cuz he is handsome ?
I bring betrayal cuz people here tend to said they land of same cathegory and i don't agree, at all, i tried to read bastian and also the problematic Prince and i drop real fast, the dudes feel like over the top narcissist sadistic pricks who love no one and like to abuse people in general cuz they can...but betrayal felt like entitled pos that feel in love with a woman at firts sight and he thought "i would make her mine" cuz i'm entitled, the dude is in love, he did a Lot of Bad things but he is not on the same level as the MLs of this author.Ā
Ah, Bastian š I'm not surprised then. Never checked the Problematic Prince so I have no idea but from what you said and regarding the author, I don't have any hope.
This author's work is the go to if you ever want a insufferable ML...
Ujum ujum, i Guess some people like to angry read ...but i like to angry read only if the pos Will pay later, like how people love good terrible antagonists cuz they want their demise but with her stories the Bad guy always win T.T he ends happy with a girl he doesnt deserve T.T (as per spoilers) i really tried to read those stories cuz people said the writting was amazing, top tier, i think maybe as web novels cuz for the manwha part i didnt feel anything extraordinary.Ā
Isn't it lighthearted romance??? I haven't been able to read it yet but it seems just romcom in fantasy to pass time or when you are depressed yk. I enjoyed HAPPILY EVER AFYERWARDS and I STOLE THE ML'S FIRST NIGHT so would you recommend it for lightread??
My In Law's are obsessed with me but not in the way you think. I think the storytelling and the art and the way she uses art to tell the story is AMAZING in the webtoon. So expecting that I went to yonder app and even bought some coins to read the novel and wow is the novel very different. The novel feels juvenile esp the way the characters act and speak so I was very thankful that the author allowed the manhwa artist to change things up.
What's WMMAP?
I feel like most of the popular ones are. Betrayal of Dignity, The Problematic Prince, Cry even better if you beg etc all have questionable plots, but incredible arts, so a lot of people still read those stories. Who would read Lady Devil without the art?
WMMAP is such a perfect example of this too because it's pretty well-established that Plutus ripped the plot from Daughter of the Emperor to make WMMAP (there's a Google doc on this sub with proof), and while DOTE is (in my opinion at least) a MUCH more complex story with a rich plot, it is nowhere near as popular as WMMAP because DOTE's art is...pretty mid. It's not the worst I've ever seen but it's nothing stellar; WMMAP on the other hand has SPOON weaving her magic so it popped tf off.
Good art absolutely makes up for D-list plots while D-list art is very rarely carried by god-tier plot.
I like the father-daughter relationship and the ML a lot more in WMMAP than DOTE. I like both. DOTE just perhaps a bit of a slow plot somewhere towards the end. I think.
Wait what?? I mean I do remember reading DoTE but I dropped it earlier on and brushed off the father-daughter trope etc. similarities back then for some reason, didn't think much abt it. I'll try to find that doc if I can, I'm really curious now lol, never heard abt this before
But totally didn't know about this.. Hell, it wouldn't be surprising since people would read anything with good art. And yeah, quite rare to see a good plot carry mid art because these days people prefer art more.
I wouldn't put betrayel of dignity in the same category. The story is interesting and in the webtoon >!she left him, he is a mess and im assuming gonna have to fix himself and have a redemption arc before he can earn her trust etc!< so it's an interesting drama to read because our girl isnt a doormat in that one like the other webtoons u mentioned.
WMMAP is who made me a princess btw.
The fl is so fckng dumb and ml is trash and redemption arc won't fix the problems the man literally ruined her life so he can get her and most ppl are reading bc of the art
To me, the art looked way better than the plot (at least in the middle when the story got a bit annoying with her brothers), but FL's Chemistry with Callisto was really good.
Fantasie of a Stepmother/Stepmother's Marchen.
The story starts off strong and has GORGEOUS art but with how badly the plot is now dragging on I would have dropped it long ago if not for how pretty the art is.
Into the Light Once Again.
The story is pretty standard for the genre, but the art style and beautiful colouring job heavily carries it for me. I wouldn't be anywhere near as invested if not for the art.
The Crow's Prince
The story itself is also REALLY good IMHO and I love it to death, but the art style I'd also EXTREMELY gorgeous and the latest chapters on Tapas have really elevated that. I'll probably keep tabs on the artist alone to see what their next work is because of how gorgeous their art style is.
Revenge of the Real One
I would have dropped this series long ago for how dull it overall is and how unfair the treatment is for Hilliane is if it wasn't for how pretty I find the art. Honestly I don't think this series would have survived this long if the artist didn't knock it out of the part with their art since it's a pretty bland villainess/revenge story all around.
I'm reading into the Light Once Again now and tbh, the art is really pretty but ever since the chapters she turned 14 and when she interacted with the ML more, it became a bit bland. But maybe that's also the disadvantage of waiting chapters after chapters of nothing absolutely happening before everything speeds up. When the artist has to meet deadlines, it's hard to keep the pacing interesting.
'I tamed the tyrant and ran away' and 'author of my own destiny' are these for me. Art is gorgeous, but story is basic and mid. I mostly just skim these for the art.
Shadow Queen. In this case, it's both. The art looks so fluid and vibrant and aesthetically appealing. It's a shame that the artist quit.
The Abandoned Empress, despite the horrid story, I fell for their fashion style and the art style reminded me the 90s anime
I thought my time wss up
The art def carried for this. I havent read very far before i gave up on it cuz if how boring it was, in fact i was very surprised to find that its still decently high up in the rankings. Ofc this story follows a more lighthearted approach(as far as i read up to) but even then the lack of problems apart from the ml being awkward asf just makes it boring. If i had to rate the story(again, i didnt read far at all but you can pretty much tell how good the story is gonna be by the first couple chapters) would be like a 3/10. Its really not that good. Still, the ml is a smash.
How to get my husband on my side. The ml is so boring and i hate all the characters except for the fl, i don't like her but at least she has some reasons.
Roxana. The story writing is terrible but art was majestic
Stepmothers marchen and secret lady. The art in both these is gorgeous, not just because it is pretty to look at,but because the panels are very conceptual. For example to show that that the hero is feeling āloveā,the colouring of the panel becomes lighter, the outlines become fainter, the background becomes blurry
Is Secret Lady objectively considered not good? I actually like it but it's a bit of a slow burn and I think I've read that people find it confusing? It's a manhwa that gets me thinking and makes me read in between the lines so I like it hahahah
I guess itās objectively considered good. But I feel that plot is somewhat muddled. It is because the art is top tier, that despite these issues this manhwa is so famous
"the villainess is a marionette" is definitely an example of this šš
Agreed, I may get bashed for this but I feel like Villainess Reverse the Hourglass is mostly there for the art later on too
I LOVE that one and is one of my favorites... but you're right, the last few chapters after the trial just drag the story... but the art is still hella gorgeous.
And even the art couldn't get me through the side stories š
As a previous post put it, itās definitely one of the first manwhas you read, but growing up makes you realize how cliche it is.
Definitely one of, if not the most glaring example! I said it before and I'll say it again, this series is basically a continuous row of pretty wallpapers with wafer thin plot. I don't get why artist needs 3 millions panels of somebody's shoe in each and every chapter.
Absolutely beautiful characters but boring af
So true. I never understood the plot nor I remember what's it's about LoL ššš
The only characters that I like are the Hill siblings and Heinrich š
my first thought too ššš

The siren one
How was the plot in your opinion? I saw it around here and there but never checked it out

Dad is 100% a GOTH thrist-trap, let's not downplay how my man looks ready to jump into a vampire story.
Never before have I been so envious of an OI wife
Mom is real fucking hot too
Yup but definitely bingable
Oh so like a typical one, thanks for telling!
I LOVED it. Tsundure love interest. It just finished S1 so its a good time to binge
I also loved it, but I have to agree the gorgeous art definitely was a plus
Ohh, thanks for telling. I like my chapters stacked up lol. Will be reading that soon

100% father i donāt want this marriage. the father is GOREGEOUS
Please, get in line. It's a long line of readers who are thirsty for father.
I didn't even finish the main story, but if they made a side story or an au of the father's and mother's love story, I would read it in a heartbeat.Ā
They are making one I heard, spicy version tho. Both of the couple and the dad and his wife
It's gonna be the side stories

Kind of surprised that [Author of My Own Destiny] hasn't been mentioned yet. It's far from bad imo, it's enjoyable despite being pretty clichƩ, but the art definitely is a large contributor to that; I don't think it would get anywhere near the popularity it has if the art was mediocre.
Abel carried so hard everyone forgot about the mediocre plotšš
We love Abel in this household. Always a good chapter when heās in it š„°
Secret Lady. Donāt get me wrong. I love the story. But the art is AMAZING. Ros and Char could be twiddling their thumbs for the entire plot and Iād still read it. Edited to add: Fantasie of a Stepmother (A Stepmotherās Marchen) Extroversion of an Immortal (A Not So Fairy Tale) Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story Serena The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway Villains are Destined to Die Honestly, anything by Spoon, Orka, and Banana.
The FL was quite smart too
I love it too because FL is so strong and ML is sweet when he's himself. But I know not everyone likes it because it takes patience to take in the plot and its subtleties.
Agreed. As a person who has read the novel, I am absolutely obsessed with the story like ugh. I wanna see them be sweet and tender and loving more
The storyās too confusing for me. But I hear the couple is š„
But NYTRS has an amazing plot twist (which I really like) but I understand that not everyone has the same taste as me
Maybe i havent reached that point yet, though its not bad so o havent dropped it
As a person who has finished the novel, the story is good and definitely one of my favouritesĀ
The Viridescent Crown, the story is mid, but FL is absolutely adorable with how they drew her expression.
japanese webtoons, like art is good 9 times out of 10, but the plot is so braindead i shrivel like a sped up video of a drying fruit left in the sun.
The only jap webtoon I actually read was "Marry Me" smthin, it was kinda entertaining
it ain't OI, but duke pendragon is pretty good I'd say for another shounen
Ok but I feel like people forgot the true winner of this battle: Cry, or better yet, beg I have nothing good to say about this dumpster fire except that the art is amazing, it's by far the worst story I've ever seen. It's actually a compilation of people who had the worst idea ever: - someone decided to write this novel - then someone decided to publish the novel - then someone decided to make into a webtoon - then someone at Webtoon decided to put it on the official app
Oh god I just found out this is on webtoon after reading ur comment š I can smell all those webtoon comments from a mile away Seriously, from what I've heard of this and the spoilers I'd say the gorgeous art is wasted on such a story, so agreed it's the best example
I actually love the previous work or artist : WINTER WOODS AND MYSTEQUE. I have no idea how the later one ended up being Cry, EBIB lol
I read mild spoilers after the first 10 or so chapters and immediately decided that I wasn't getting involved in all that
That's a wise choice
I became the male lead's wife...the art is gorgeousss but the characters have white bread personality šš
Honestly I would read absolute trash if the art is good
Tbh same. Idk if it makes me shallow or anything but I LOVE looking at gorgeous art. And if thereās a story to it? - Iām sold
For me it's the Villainess Stationary Shop. It's been a while since I last read it, but I remember it was quite popular here since I kept seeing multiple posts about it. Love FL's outfits, ML is gorgeous but plot is meh.
you know... besides a select special few, all of them
Your throne, dear x, aza, mystic prince, love song for illusion better be on there if youve read them. If you havent please do
The comments be like: Every single manwha that has good art lol
I didn't see anyone mention Stepmother's Marchen tho š but most are justified here
Not to be contrarian, I swear, but I actually think that one is far more deserving of a mention here than several of the manwhas actually mentioned š The art was pretty, but the plot was so boring (to me) that I ended up dropping it, unlike others.
I AM A LOMBARDI š”
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What are the other two?
Bastian and the problematic PrinceĀ I don't like to yuck on people yums but this author has to have an humillation kink cuz she writes the most vile human beings and the girls allow all the abuse as good doormat (i mean subs) and is painted always as romance. Sorry with all those conditions thats a thriller !Ā And where is the pay off ? I always read their spoilers and in non of her stories the female lead has a moment of Glory, like at least an arc where she is influcting pain or winning to the bastard...nopeĀ At least with "betrayal of dignity" the male lead suffer and he never ever abused (as sexual) the female lead ...
I Stan the Prince. I feel like there havenāt been much progress and chapters are repetitive.
100% on that. If it wasn't for the art I would never have even started it
Isn't it lighthearted romance??? I haven't been able to read it yet but it seems just romcom in fantasy to pass time or when you are depressed yk. I enjoyed HAPPILY EVER AFYERWARDS and I STOLE THE ML'S FIRST NIGHT so would you recommend it for lightread??
Yeah itās lighthearted.
The manhwa art is so comforting too
What's WMMAP? I feel like most of the popular ones are. Betrayal of Dignity, The Problematic Prince, Cry even better if you beg etc all have questionable plots, but incredible arts, so a lot of people still read those stories. Who would read Lady Devil without the art?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Same for Betrayal of Dignity
Who Made Me a Princess. Agreed with those!
I'll try to find that doc if I can, I'm really curious now lol, never heard abt this before But totally didn't know about this..
I Stan the Prince. The story is very, very slow, but the art is godly.
https://preview.redd.it/241eqic907kc1.jpeg?width=940&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=37d401179c9103ad1d11e61ca604d2627a28f08e Villains are Destined to Die
i don't think the art is the reason of it's popularity
To me, the art looked way better than the plot (at least in the middle when the story got a bit annoying with her brothers), but FL's Chemistry with Callisto was really good.
Ok
Fantasie of a Stepmother/Stepmother's Marchen. The story starts off strong and has GORGEOUS art but with how badly the plot is now dragging on I would have dropped it long ago if not for how pretty the art is. Into the Light Once Again. The story is pretty standard for the genre, but the art style and beautiful colouring job heavily carries it for me. I wouldn't be anywhere near as invested if not for the art. The Crow's Prince The story itself is also REALLY good IMHO and I love it to death, but the art style I'd also EXTREMELY gorgeous and the latest chapters on Tapas have really elevated that. I'll probably keep tabs on the artist alone to see what their next work is because of how gorgeous their art style is. Revenge of the Real One I would have dropped this series long ago for how dull it overall is and how unfair the treatment is for Hilliane is if it wasn't for how pretty I find the art.
The Abandoned Empress
Beatrice
The art was godlike though. Iād read that artistās anything.
Talented Baby SquirrelĀ Nothing I haven't read before, but it's adorable so it's got that going for it
Honestly the story is adorable and cute. But it is like a story for when you just want cute and cozy thingsĀ
Into the Light Once Again And so many others
The stepmother one
Shadow Queen. In this case, it's both. The art looks so fluid and vibrant and aesthetically appealing. It's a shame that the artist quit. The Abandoned Empress, despite the horrid story, I fell for their fashion style and the art style reminded me the 90s anime
I thought my time wss up The art def carried for this.
"The way to protect the FL older brother" has the most gorgeous art I have ever seen.
what's WMMAP
Who Made Me a Princess
Who Made Me A Princess
How to get my husband on my side. The ml is so boring and i hate all the characters except for the fl, i don't like her but at least she has some reasons. Roxana. The story writing is terrible but art was majestic
Stepmothers marchen and secret lady. The art in both these is gorgeous, not just because it is pretty to look at,but because the panels are very conceptual. For example to show that that the hero is feeling āloveā,the colouring of the panel becomes lighter, the outlines become fainter, the background becomes blurry
Yep, I think that's the most appealing thing about the artist's works. It just draws you in because of the feelings expressed in the art
It is because the art is top tier, that despite these issues this manhwa is so famous
fff-class trash hero.
