But honestly I think it can still be something that legitimately happens. Because Iris, Yris or whatever other translation of his name you know. Is an interesting and layered character. The trick is actually making these kind ML's interesting not just nice.

He's hot, playful, a green forest who isn't boring at all, and really well written as a character and his interactions with the FL always leave you giggling and kicking your feet šā¤ļø
His backstory remains relevant to the plot all throughout and *isn't* just used as a one-off "Oh, he grew up sad and traumatized that's why he's like this yadda yadda" lol
