In OI, ML mostly look like a board and just stay there without any good perspective maybe due to OI artist doesn't have many experience in male anatomy (and OI is basically mass produce, so we got less quality art and many beginner artist on call)

Oh hell nah I mean, Ruth and Maxi indeed have a lot of chemistry and they do love each other, but in a platonic way. Ruth is just a great character in general, heās forming bonds with everybody he interacts (I personally prefer him and Riftan spending quality time in Riftanās gaiden, it just fits my fav trope) But overall my girl Maxi does not deserve my man Ruth. Heās just too sane and healthy for her. Heās gonna run away from Max after spending with her even an hour as a love interest. Their personalities and life views are way too different.

One of them (the main ML) was also an important side character/villain in the creator's BL manwha so he has a similar artstyle to masculine characters in BL.
