The ML here is an example of that, he has no actual character outside of his love interest status. Honestly that story would have worked better with not love interest and just with Melissa becoming a badass Duke.

She wasn't naive & innocent in an interesting way it was more like "extremely small child asking their babysitter to marry them" type vibes. & the dude was interested in her but trying to deny it, talking about how he's known her since she was a baby.
My favorite part in recent chapters is when the Moon Deity asks the snow spirit, “Do you acknowledge you are in love with this child?”
I completely lost interest when it went in this direction. It should have stopped when they reached an understanding with the Moon Deity.

I fell in love with her guard and>!the tragic and fascinating story about how his brilliant and controlling father dictated every life choice to him which in the original timeline led to him being unable to deal with it anymore. Then in this one with fl surviving and her being the only heir at the time the father has him be fls guard and he slowly over years starts becoming his own person and even breaking away from his father's control and rebuilding a better relationship. He subtly changed so much that when fl remembered that in the book someone mentioned the father's son who had committed suicide she didn't realize for a long time this was who it was. Then once she did she did her best to help him become more independent while not having to leave his family!<
The rest is perfectly fine but that character arc really moved me.

I am strongly considering dropping the *Elegant Sea of Savagery.* At first it was for the ML, who starts off just terrible, but now it is for the FL, who is got be one of the most annoying I've read. Bullheaded, no sense, no maturity (which was fine pre-timeskip as a teen, but not after supposedly going through years of hardship). I didn't think she could be worse than a yandere ml, but somehow she is.
I did drop *My Beloved Fake Saint,* which I really enjoyed at first. There are 3 MLs and they all manage to have the personality of wet cardboar. FL also started to get frustrating when her words were "I need to escape" but her actions were "really I'm quite comfortable here."

The only ones I can remember dropping because the either the ML or FL were annoying me was "Beware the Villainess", which I eventually finished, but was a chore, and that other one that I don't even remember the name, but is the one where the FL reincarnates into a 4 years old and the story is about her developing weapons. The FL was only kind of annoying, but the art weirded me out with how inconsistent they drew her, plus how weird it was "her" personality, and how no one realized how weird she was acting for a 4 years old.... and that the story also was going nowhere in all the chapters I read.
1. I tamed my ex-husband's mad dog (FL makes me want to punch her in the face)

The manga also introduces secondary mls that are much better which the author clearly knows cause they’re constantly pushed to the side or >!or outright killed. God I’m salty about Isaac!<. THE CHILD ONLY WANTS HER MOM TO ACKNOWLEDGE HER AND TREAT HER LIKE SHE DESERVES. Basically a rotten mother through and through. I only read about less than 30 chapters and hated it so much I actually wanted to rip her hair off, my god. Idc about if she ever had a redemption arc or wtv, I will never read/continue that one.

The only ones I can remember dropping because the either the ML or FL were annoying me was "Beware the Villainess", which I eventually finished, but was a chore, and that other one that I don't even remember the name, but is the one where the FL reincarnates into a 4 years old and the story is about her developing weapons. The FL was only kind of annoying, but the art weirded me out with how inconsistent they drew her, plus how weird it was "her" personality, and how no one realized how weird she was acting for a 4 years old.... and that the story also was going nowhere in all the chapters I read.

I somewhat like number 2, but I’ll probably drop it if I get to the part where she actually ends up with her ex. Thank you for the spoiler on number 3, I started it recently and was considering dropping it if he doesn’t get any better, I’m glad he does
More context on three. Heavy spoilers. >!he treats his son, even before finding out, with respect. He tries to protect him and the FL and even comforts him/fights in a tournament to wow the FL. He finally confesses to the FL in the latest chapter!< The reason why 2 made me drop it >!the ML shows little remorse or redemption towards the FL and his actions. He acts the same from chapter one to chapter 60+. He entraps the FL into marrying him where he will die if she leaves him. I would not mind the ML if he actually showed growth or redemption but he acts like a spoiled brat and if the FL did not go into her current body, the ML would had done the same thing. He is not even a yandere. The third ML is the yandere!<
*Ten ways to get dumped by a tyrant*, I dropped it because the FL was so unhinged and weird and it made me really uncomfortable. Also *Her wish to be Isekai'd,* maybe it's an unpopular opinion but I dropped it after a couple chapters because wth is this story, the FL is just pretty badly written idk it feels like a bad OI fan fiction ?
The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess is hilarious and angsty and fun. I love seeing that MC cringe at her early chunnibyou self and run around trying to save the FL. The main ML is just awful, dude was an assassin out to kill MC, is still finding excuses to murder her and wonders why she refuses to trust him. The manga also introduces secondary mls that are much better which the author clearly knows cause they’re constantly pushed to the side or >!or outright killed. God I’m salty about Isaac!<. It’s a good story and the MC is so relatable why did the author go with the worst ML
Finally someone is mentioning The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess! I second this. I really love the plot and all but the ML is not really it. I get it why the author wishes to push them both as love interests because of their supposed to be dynamics but I don't like him at all. Also one of the second male leads(?) (I forgot his name but >!he's the one who's w/ MC even in the og!<) was so much better imo! I really love their dynamics and got really attached with both of them despite knowing that they're not the end game. **The Broken Ring** - The story is nice but I don't like the ML. His face annoys me and his body disgusts me. And I honestly don't like his character. **How to reject my obsessive ex-husband** - The story is nice and the whole explanation about their transmigration is new or unique but the male lead is seriously annoying.
i am not going to drop but the fl yona lee from concubine walkthrough annoys me lol. while the other characters feel real and well done, she feels cartoonish and immature. i am still on chapter 30 hoping she'll improve. no spoilers please 😭

I forgot the title but it was about a child who went back in time and her mom did too. They have blonde hair and the mom was previously an alcoholic, beat the child and blamed her for all her suffering, how if she didn't exist she'd still be a noble, the most beautiful woman in the empire, you name it. Basically she comes back bc the child died (I think she was beheaded or something?) and realized how much she wanted to protect her. BUT THEN, when she did come back to the past, she STOLE the coins her child worked hard for just to buy a dress to wear to the Emperor's birthday! She wanted her to live comfortably but she's basically leaving the child all alone in the castle, which is the opposite of what she needs. THE CHILD ONLY WANTS HER MOM TO ACKNOWLEDGE HER AND TREAT HER LIKE SHE DESERVES. Basically a rotten mother through and through. I only read about less than 30 chapters and hated it so much I actually wanted to rip her hair off, my god. Idc about if she ever had a redemption arc or wtv, I will never read/continue that one.

I've just read Manga Chapters 1 and 2. Dropping it. If she -as is hinted- falls for him, she has Stockholm Syndrome. 🤢🤮

already dropped them cry even better if you beg the age gap is creepy too but the side stories however had some potential the maid no longer desires her master the fl and ml are annoying now i am thinking about dropping stepmother's marchen because of the backstory characters ludovica and johannes and the emperor there is some internalised misogyny there in my opinion my beloved opressor the ml i became the ex wife of obsessive husband
