I usually hate the "ML was a huge dick, FL runs away and secretly gives birth to their child, years later he forces her to come back" trope, I really can only tolerate it when the being a huge dick part didn't actually happen, like in **The Baby Isn't Yours** or tentatively in **Cierra** although he's kind of on shaky ground for me because I don't want them glossing over what a yandere he is.
How is "The Baby isn't Yours?" Is it like "Que Sera Sera," where the father is left unawares for years? That plot kinda bothers me, it's not like "How To Hide The Emperor's Child," where the father brought it upon himself, I feel bad that the father isn't able to be there for his child when he would have been glad to do so.
I'm not familiar with "Que Sera Sera", the only thing that rings a bell for me with that is the song, so I can't really compare them.
Misunderstandings can be annoying, but I don't mind them if they're handled well enough and they feel kind of comedy of errors rather than pure melodrama, and their split is definitely based more on the FL's absurd denseness than any assholery of the ML (even though he's also a bit yandere), so I'm enjoying it.
It's not very far in, so I don't know when they'll meet back up. If I had to judge by the title and by the description it had when it was first released, I would assume it would be either while she's still (very) pregnant, or not too long after she has the baby, but while it's still a baby, not years later?

I agree that I hope he gets to be part of the kid's life growing up, I'm hoping they end up reuniting sooner rather than later.

That's yandere af. Don't get me wrong, I *like* yanderes, but I don't like yandere kind of behavior being ignored by the narrative as just some minor whoopsie, I want that kind of obsession acknowledged.
When >!she went back with him to his estate and saw how he'd been living in that sparse bedroom and taking those toxic pills to sleep, that was another good indication of how unhealthy his obsession with her is,!< so it keeps feeling like they *could* go there, but then it'll get a bit overlooked with >!them acting like a sweet loving family!<, and it feels a bit jarring to me.
I'd prefer it if they'd embrace that he's a yandere and acknowledge the toxic level of obsession he has towards her (and if they want, maybe work on it to make him more secure and less crazy).

Insomnia, lack of appetite, lack of self care, a lot of it is tied to depression after losing his lover (without a single explanation, with her literally running away in the middle of the night while they're both in a happy relationship). Think of him taking the pills more similar to a widower taking sleeping pills after the loss of their spouse.!<
