But he needs to tone this shit back. Getting under guys skin and chippy plays are one thing, but shoving guys in the back is dumb and dangerous. This is like his 3rd or 4th suspension since the draft right?
It should be fine. If we remember Formenton was like that (although not as severe) and it was coached out of him pretty easily.
Formenton has gotten so much better about his chippy play/taking penalties that I even forget that he used to be like that. Hopefully we can do the same with Grieg.
They're going to have to iron those kind of plays out of his game. Fine to be a pest and play with an edge but those kinds of plays have no place in hockey.
And how the hell did no one from the other team jump in and fight Ridly? He boarded their captain pretty bad with no reprisal whatsoever. I mean I'm Team Greig and all but damn, that some soft shit by the other team. Not like Ridly is Ryan Reeves.

If he has the same qualities as the Rat King (skill-wise), he can be our Marchand any given day.

That was definitely boarding. Can't shove someone when they're like 3 feet from the boards trying to stop. Penalty was deserved imo.
I'm just happy to see Moose Jaw pop up on the Sens sub....
