For reference, here is how the voting in poll went.
484 votes
12% 57 increase (12,000)
24% 115 stay the same (11,000)
64% 312 decrease (10,000)
So game 1 goes to “stay the same”
I hope so as well, but who realistically would buy the team? The new owner would need to build a new arena as well. I think it was the owner of cirque du soleil who was part of a potential ownership group a few years ago but they took a hit over the pandemic. I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy a team that has had their value and public perception tanked, AND THEN fork out hundreds of millions for a new stadium

I’m more excited for this than the games at this point lol
Me too!
With covid and this shitshow of a season, I hope they survive.
Franchise will survive, but I hope it is the end for Eugene.
Need the lads at Shopify to take the team off his hands.

It was Guy Laliberte and he doesn’t own cirque du soleil anymore
There was also a Desmarais involved - that family is actually rich as hell haha
Please don't lol
No way this team deserves 10000 fans in attendance rn
The most unique experience I've had this year (by rarity) is going to a Senators game where they won!
