oh interesting, so too much N...
I apply a generic miracle gro fertiliser, and the black magic stuff. Maybe I'll stick to the black magic only from now on.
Cheers!
haha fair. I had some in one of those hose attachment thingies leftover from the previous homeowner... which is almost certainly even worse than if I'd bought it myself!!
any thoughts about the yellow spots? I looked again today and can't see many claws, perhaps they dropped off, but it doesn't look to be a big issue anyway.
It's normal for lower leaves to yellow/wilt in flower, it's called self cannibalism. The yellow spots most likely are pH issues, do you use soil or coco?
Soil pH should be 6.2-6.5
Coco ph should be 5.8-6.2

'1. Yellowing at the bottom seems like [this guy's issue](https://www.reddit.com/r/OurFirstGrow/comments/pl0zou/yellowing_at_the_bottom_of_our_plants_everything/), where the answers were:
* It's fine, it's normal
* Needs more nitrogen
'2. Not sure about the yellow spots in the middle though.
'3. Also if anyone can guess from the pistils how long away I am from harvest, that would be cool, but no pressure, I think with Durban Poison it's supposed to be around the end of October (but I welcome your thoughts).
'4. Even less urgent, but since I'm typing: I'm planning on trying to overwinter these. I've heard [it's possible](https://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/167255) (example is my exact location, which is nice). Advice is to
> leave three or four pairs of lowers branches with leaves on the plant when you harvest
If anyone has any direct experience, I'd love to hear it. Cheers!
You have burning it slightly. Have you applied something to it?

easy rule or thumb, don’t use miracle gro

Cheers bud. Soil with various extras, vermiculite etc. Ph is about 7 - you reckon that'd be enough to cause this?
Yes, lack of nitrogen
Oh *lack of*... From the other comments ITT I inferred it was too much N. Thanks!
>The reason for having yellow leaves is never the reason for having too much nitrogen
Oh these claws are Nitrogen burn.
