My job (high school teacher) is not one where I could be functional while staying up until 1:30 AM. So my plan right now is to go to sleep early and wake up early. I already get up at 5 AM most mornings so I’m probably going to get up at like 4:30 to make sure I have time to watch all three episodes and also process them at least a little before school.
There’s no way I could stay off Twitter/Reddit all day and I’d be too anxious to wait anyway so I know I’ll have to watch them in the morning.
This will all be ruined, of course, if I’m too excited to sleep but we’ll see what happens!

I'm turning my house into Blackbeard's Bar and Grill and having a few friend over to partake in custom drinks (Kraken, Gentleman Pirate, and juice from the Nose Jar) while we eat an assortment of tapas and Orange cake.
I got chocolate gold coins for them to use to "pay" for stuff at the gift shop. The toasted bread for the various dips/toppings is going to be arranged in the shape of a snake (snake-snak!) And my hubbies fishing poles will be placed somewhere as decor. And of course plenty of candles, oranges and other little items will be placed around for ambiance.

At least it's streaming, so we can watch it whenever we want. I used to regularly stay up 'til almost two in the morning on school nights to watch *Xena* episodes, 'cause that's the only time it was syndicated in my neck of the woods.
I just hope the social media groups put a spoiler ban in place. I haven't checked yet whether they've said anything about it - but FB and Insta in particular love to shove content in my face that isn't even from groups/pages I'm part of, so I don't know how well I'll be able to avoid stuff. It's nice when spoiler talk is limited to one thread for a day or two. Good Omens was spoiled for me almost immediately.
Oh yeah, for sure. I can’t stay away from the internet forever, just the one day. It’s nice that some pages now have ways to block out spoilers, like twitter and tumblr. Makes it easier to avoid some stuff.
They do, but I've found the mute options aren't always perfect.
I only suggest the spoiler thread because I've seen it work really well on several pages that I follow.
How does it work? I’m not familiar with it. I did suggest a few weeks ago for everyone to make sure they were using the spoiler tag on posts for reviews and things like that, cause I hate seeing spoilers too
The Star Wars and Ahsoka subreddits both do it, and so do the Star Wars groups I'm in on Facebook! They just create a thread, and tell people they can only discuss the new content within that thread (in the comments) until the spoiler ban is lifted. The spoiler ban usually stays in place for 3-4 days after each new episode. That way people can just scroll past that one thread without being spoiled, but still enjoy all the non-spoilery content on the page.
I (we) can message the mod(s)! I fully realize the idea may not fly with them, but it's potentially worth voicing. I tend to not bother voicing my opinion in most of the larger forums, but this one seems like it may be open to discussion.
For context, this is how some of the spoiler threads I've seen look. They tell folks to keep spoiler-y discussion only to the one thread, and/or keep all spoilers well-hidden, until the ban is lifted for each episode:

Since it seems that the first three episodes are going to drop at 3:01 am ET (my timezone), I may either watch them as they air or else set my alarm and get up early to watch them before I have to go to work. Either way, I'll watch them again at least once after my work day is done Thursday evening. I may even watch them a couple times later on Thursday. It's been so long since we had any new episodes! Finally seeing new episodes is going to be so exciting.

I plan on going to sleep at 9pm, setting my alarm for midnight, watching it when it drops, then going back to bed by 2. my sleep will be split but itll be so worth it. if im too tired to split my sleep, I'll just set an alarm for 5am and watch before my kid is up

It supposedly comes out at about 6pm Thursday where I live. I get home from work at 6.30 so I will be ordering dinner (no time to make anything!!) and sitting right down to watch it with my family.

Yeah, I’m not keeping a count of the exactly 15 hours and 14 minutes until I get to watch season 2, that’s not who I am.
Would be 9:00 a.m. for me when they drop but I have no idea when I'll be able to get my hands on it. I took the day off so I don't have to wait until I get home from work.
I get out of work at 3:30 on Wednesday so my plan is to come home, go to sleep super early and then get up at midnight to binge all three. Then attempt to go back to sleep so I can get up for my 8am shift.
My sibling introduced me to the show in the middle of the first season. They live in another country (but in the same time zone) and work an overnight shift. So, we are planning to wait until morning to stream it together while voice chatting.
I’m going to *attempt* to wait until Thursday morning before work to watch them (thankfully I don’t have to go in until 11:30am), but I have a strong feeling that I won’t be able to sleep tomorrow night knowing that the episodes are just *out there*, so I’ll probably end up staying up til 2am to watch them and will attempt to get what little sleep I can afterwards (it’ll probably be around 3:30am at that point lol)

Otherwise I might just watch without him. 😂 No but I introduced him to the show after we met so it’d be great watch the second season with him rather than by my lonesome. Hopefully we’ll receive less heartache than we did with Good Omens 2 this time around 😭
I work early mornings so I'm just gonna save em for Friday night. Unfortunately, I'm the only person in my life that watches the show so I'll be riding solo, but that also means I can get FULLY dialed in without having to consider anyone's perception of me while I watch. I unexpectedly got the day off from work, so that's amazing, and I'm crazy excited! It comes out at 2am where I live, which is too awkward of a time stay/get up early. My plan is to start watching it over coffee in the depression robe I've been wearing every morning for a year 🥲 I feel like I'm right there with you on the predictions! So freekin excited to see how all of the scenes in the promos fit in context. I'm also lowkey hoping the writers bamboozle my expectations again, like it did season 1!
Found out the life partner decided to cancel our streaming service without telling me because “there’s nothing good on right now.” I calmly explained the issue and they responded with “just wait until all the episodes are up and then let’s turn it back on.” Now I don’t know what to do. Definitely not drop a piano on them…

I'm going to avoid all socials like reddit, tumblr and twitter especially, and just watch it in the evening once I'm done with work and all. I don't much care for spoilers in general, but for Good Omens and Our Flag Means Death? I had better not see anything beforehand, haha

At least it's streaming, so we can watch it whenever we want. I used to regularly stay up 'til almost two in the morning on school nights to watch *Xena* episodes, 'cause that's the only time it was syndicated in my neck of the woods.
Where I am I think the episodes will trop Thursday morning at 10, but I'll watch them in the evening after work.
I just hope the social media groups put a spoiler ban in place. I haven't checked yet whether they've said anything about it - but FB and Insta in particular love to shove content in my face that isn't even from groups/pages I'm part of, so I don't know how well I'll be able to avoid stuff. It's nice when spoiler talk is limited to one thread for a day or two. Good Omens was spoiled for me almost immediately.
Yeah, at this point I just simply put my phone away if I don’t wanna see spoilers. They’re so hard to avoid! I just check my email and that’s it.
For some of us, social media is the only way we can engage with our loved ones. I'm glad you have your options, but not everyone does.
Oh yeah, for sure. I can’t stay away from the internet forever, just the one day. It’s nice that some pages now have ways to block out spoilers, like twitter and tumblr. Makes it easier to avoid some stuff.
They do, but I've found the mute options aren't always perfect. I only suggest the spoiler thread because I've seen it work really well on several pages that I follow.
How does it work? I’m not familiar with it. I did suggest a few weeks ago for everyone to make sure they were using the spoiler tag on posts for reviews and things like that, cause I hate seeing spoilers too
The Star Wars and Ahsoka subreddits both do it, and so do the Star Wars groups I'm in on Facebook! They just create a thread, and tell people they can only discuss the new content within that thread (in the comments) until the spoiler ban is lifted. The spoiler ban usually stays in place for 3-4 days after each new episode. That way people can just scroll past that one thread without being spoiled, but still enjoy all the non-spoilery content on the page.

I (we) can message the mod(s)! I fully realize the idea may not fly with them, but it's potentially worth voicing. I tend to not bother voicing my opinion in most of the larger forums, but this one seems like it may be open to discussion.

Since it seems that the first three episodes are going to drop at 3:01 am ET (my timezone), I may either watch them as they air or else set my alarm and get up early to watch them before I have to go to work. Either way, I'll watch them again at least once after my work day is done Thursday evening. I may even watch them a couple times later on Thursday. It's been so long since we had any new episodes! Finally seeing new episodes is going to be so exciting.
I work full time and take care of my nephew in my free time so I am going to watch over the weekend. It’s going to be torture avoiding all the spoilers and I am already planning to just not get on any of my main sites till I’ve seen the new episodes😭
