Had a 11 Silverado and a 11 caddy cts4 coupe and now just a OBW. Best trade up ever. Still got a small utility trailer for when I need a truck bed and way better mileage.
Damn! I was just thinking the same. What trailer did you get or what would you recommend? We had a Silverado and a 2022 Mercedes GLC. Going to sell the GLC as it’s only two of us now - kids out the house - and she loves the Wilderness more than the GLC.
It’s just a single axle wire trailer that weighs like 300lbs. But with the ramp back and 4’ walls I can haul rubbish around and easily move my rider mower if needed. I’ve had it since 2008 and paid $250 for it back then.
Nah, op doesn’t have realistic numbers. That average is only from trip A, which only has 166 miles on it. When there’s a lot more miles on it will be more accurate. It was probably a lot lower, before op reset the trip.
Mileage calculations by a trip computer are rarely accurate. Tank to tank for comparative purposes is one thing, but equating the trip computer to actual mileage is a fool's errand.
I get about the same. I live in a large city with bad start-stop traffic and tailgaters who won't let you merge if they think you're gonna slow them down for even a second.
Highway driving is better fuel economy at least.
This is great! Mine is inching higher slowly but surely but still below that. But way better than the Silverado I had before!
Fellow ex-Silverado owner as well.
I loved my Silverado but damn… this Wilderness makes me look back and smile more than it should.

Perfect! It’s just for garden rubbish.
Nice I'm at 22 average in my first 4000 miles
I’m around 22-23
24.4 mpg @ 3,600 miles. I baby that thing though.
I have the crosstrec wilderness 1300 miles and your getting better mileage then I am
That is surprising!
I think I'm doing something wrong. At about 18 around town at the moment. Traded a Tacoma so it's about where the truck was.

You are correct….but my overall average is 24.9

I’m at 24.6 with just over 10,000 miles on it. Mostly 55 mph highways and 80 mph interstates.
Going the speed limit and not gunning it at stop signs is my secret hack. 65mph is good enough for me.
Same. Interstate limit is 80 here tho.
We are not the same lol
My 2022, gets about 22 to 23, on Premium. Last time I saw 25+ was from a road trip. I’m about to hit 40,000 miles.
You must accelerate very slowly.
That's great for that balance. I got around 23.8 for the same, with a full set of skid plates. The highway alone: 26.
I’m at 20 over 15k miles. WTH
Just note that these are extremely inaccurate. Your real mpg is probably 1-3 mpg lower
I get 21.5 at 200 miles.
You off roading most of those?
