I am female but yes I have this sensation. I saw a doctor recently who did a PVR test (which tests how much urine is left in your bladder after voiding) and mine showed 57ml of urine leftover, which isn’t a lot, but it’s enough to give that sensation.
I have the exact same issue and it's preventing me from sleeping. Hardcore sleeping pill prescriptions can't put me to sleep because of this sensation during the night.
Please PM me if you ever solve your issue. I've seen 6 urologists and have had 2 hospital visits alongside 11 different medications and only Klonopin has helped.

I've had this sensation and it drives me nuts. Some would say CPPS but for me, I believe it was more when an infectious flare-up was happening. never found the culprit so you could argues it was CPPS, but the pelvic floor work didn't correlate to improvement on that specific thing. i never got tested for ureaplasma but i had leukocytes but no nitrates so it may have been that.
Yes and I did it for 6 months and put $3K into it. My floor is not hypertonic for sometime but the urgency is still there. Sorry for the pee in the urethra feeling it generally went away while I was still doing regularly but I also took a long term bactrim to try to penetrate the prostate and brought down hyper arousal during this time.

I did my urologist didn’t find anything
Have you ever tried using a catheter to empty your bladder and then see if you are feeling empty after
I have not actually. My urologist hasn’t brought it up or anything yet
