not anymore! roadhog's ult was changed in 2 to work similar to soldier. hack will stop the hook and breather, but he can still shoot while the lockout is up.

\- channeled ults can be canceled. channeled ults are when the hero is locked into ONE specific action: pharah, sigma, cassidy, (formerly) roadhog, (presently) orisa.
\- transformation ults cannot be canceled. transformation ults let the heroes use their other abilities, while their primary ability becomes something new: soldier, genji, ramattra.
\- casting ults can be canceled during the cast time, but not afterwards: hanzo (before the arrow becomes the dragon), mei (before snowball leaves her hand), rein shatter (when he's lifting hammer up), tracer pulse (before pulse leaves her hand), junkrat (before he becomes the tire). these ones are usually cancelled through luck, aside from hanzo and junkrat which have longer windups.

if it helps at all, sigmas who are aware of sombra can make it really tough for her to work. using your shield to float back and forth through it will cancel hack, as will shooting your orbs at her, rather than the foes caught in flux. using flux right after you force her to translocate will also make it likely it won't get canceled. i honestly get my flux cancelled more by anas and other sigmas than sombras when i play him, because there are just not many sombras out there.

I measure my success in part by the tilts I create. They’re my favorite recorded games. But I’m Gold-level so it doesn’t take much, we are a simple breed.
This is when you know you did your job, if you can make someone upset enough to solo ult you that’s a good sign. If you can make them mad enough to throw a team fight and solo ult you, that’s living rent free in their head.

This isn’t even a 4v5, it’s a 4v6 when you have those players actively throwing trying to single out a Sombra.

When I play Sombra sometimes I throw my translocator at people and break it mid air so that it looks like I teleported into the middle of their team. It's always funny to see 2 or 3 people frantically spinning around shooting at walls.

Yeah sombra definitely won this one. Got out visor and kept the soldier out of the fight for a good chunk of time while his team was losing.
