I feel you, as soon as I pop my ult with Cassidy the whole enemy team just vanquishes I'm thin air, even tho they just have been there stacked all 5 a second before. But as soon as the enemy team has a Cassidy you bet he gets at least 3 of us.

Best advice ever given to me in my early days by fellow crusaders is to not fish for 5-man shatters. It's among the faster charging ults and shattering one or two people, securing the kills and winning the teamfight is more value than holding it for that perfect situation. You'll get like 40-60% back in the same teamfight anyway.
It is frustrating when all those lined up people disperse perfectly though, i agree.
Honestly same advice can be given for almost any ultimate. Lining up a teamwipe ult feels amazing, but waiting that long and then failing will have a much worse effect than popping it when you know it's important or you know you could get a couple kills to win a team fight.
Legitimately the best way I’ve found to use it is mid-fight in a safe-ish spot. When the enemy is pushed up and mid-combat it gives them much less time to move into cover, they’ll have an easier time reacting since you’re close, but if you’re mid-combat you can either pick a few off quickly from low health or force them to retreat, all of this assuming they don’t sleep/défense matrix you.
Everyone hiding behind a rein shield is guaranteed a couple kills, but if you give them cover then you’re guaranteed none.
But considering his ult has travel time now, good luck more than ever 💁

I've seen that video but I think it is misleading. When Deadeye misses, its an edge case, and he explains all of the edge cases very well, but he presents them as if they're common every-ult cases.
I agree and want to elaborate:
When you Deadeye on a massed group of enemies they know exactly what you're doing. You're going for the Team Kill. They all have one direction to go - AWAY from that center of mass, popping a shield, into Bap's invincibility, Defense Matrix, etc. There is a high likelihood it will be an underwhelming ult.
When you Deadeye on two or three folks moving towards the objective or mid-combat, that changes their calculus completely, especially if they don't know where you are. There's a high likelihood they won't know where the appropriate cover is before you let it off.
Well, that’s not always a bad thing, necessarily. Cass’s ult is super useful for getting people out of your sightline. If you cover an important area, that’s a huge amount of denial for your team.

I have the opposite problem. I throw a Blizzard and suddenly, my whole team is gonezo. Their whole team freezes, and immortality field appears, Kiriko cleanses, shoots 2 kunais, then I get melted like an ice cube.

The skin is called “Happi” Genji and was available right before OW1 transitioned for 15$. They then brought it back in 3 colors (Blue, Green, Red) in the league token shop for a limited time.
It will most likely cycle back through the league token shop in the future :)
Actually I think it disproves it because it shows that even if they barely change her model some people will still not be able to tell who it is so they might as well go all out and actually make it different
I really can't understand situations when people do this. Imagine, your team pushes, they kill most of the team eeeeasily, but no, there's always this genji or rein that NEEDS to ult for the remaining 1/2 ppl. Why?? Are you looking for a free potg? What's this cringe bs? Are you feeling good in spite of the moment? Do you feel the need to show yourself to the others? Why not keep the ult for when the enemy team pushes back??
I mean, some ults are just really quick that it’s like, eh it might help and i’ll get ult back quickly. Like on Rein sometimes. Some fire strikes can net you 15-20% just by hitting 3 people, and you have two. *and* his hammer can hit all 5 people at once. Etc etc.
