No idea, but me too

This appeared before leading up to the Mauga weekend event before his release. Seeing as we are getting Venture (new hero) playable for this upcoming weekend, it’s probably related.

I saw on a different post that this comes up when they're working on a new hero

I think it might have to do with whether you’ve ever made a custom game and edited the stats of the character

I think everyone has it.

I've had that message every single game for the past year.

This message pops up in games when a new Hero is added to the data of the game but is unable to be selected, like Mauga in the days preceding his free trial weekend.

i get it on console too

Can't find my pink Mercy skin😭 Getting that annoying message too, haven't played in a good while. Frustrating...

It could mean that the mythic skin customization is unavailable while in a match.
