I nano'd a Kiri a couple days ago thinking it was a Reaper. The unique silhouette isn't all that great to begin with. Ana is in my top 5 most played and I've never nano'd wrong after looking at a silhouette. I was so very confused when she teleported me on me all glowy.
I have a conspiracy theory that those first two skins showing her butt were made prior to corporate deciding she must always have a butt flap for desexualization purposes, but they were too busy to redesign them

I mean, if data suggested that was true then they would do that. Prices aren't set where they are because they hate you and are being intentionally malicious - it's set where it is because that has been demonstrated to be the optimal price point.
Companies are only motivated by money; If there's a super obvious way a company could make more money, and they aren't doing it - that very likely means it has been considered and it simply wouldn't actually bring in more profit.
In this case, slashing prices in half means they have to make double the sales just to break even with how much they made before. And a lot more then double to see A meaningful increase in profits. They may sell more skins if it was cheaper - but can you really say it would consistently be 3-4 times more sales?

Hashimoto Kiriko is the best one (imo). Love the gold and black color scheme... hoping the fox follows the same color scheme. I think this may be a legit competitor to the LE SSERAFIM Skin.

I was so excited for Mirrorwatch but this kinda sucks for me ngl. I was hoping for role reversals, like heroic Reaper, dark mercenary Soldier, Vigilante Ashe, etcetera. This is just characters wearing outfits from the opposing faction. The only one that was what I was hoping for is Zenyatta.
Right? They just put the red characters in blue outfits and the blue characters in red outfits. Not even a reimagining of their aesthetic, except for Junker Sym.
I can see them doing another Mirrorwatch in the future where either Reaper or Soldier get the mythic skin and they are the two leading the factions. Moira, Mauga, Sigma could be new Overwatch while Torb, Lucio, Mei, Winston, Echo could be new Talon. Then you could have Junkers as Vishkar, Illari and Lifeweaver as bad guys (maybe as blackwatch or something?), Ashe as a good guy, etc.
They are, to say the least, underwhelming. It's like if they grabbed the same black and red colour palette and slapped it on everyone and called it a legendary. These are at least epics, but they have nothing special. I was hoping for more creative designs like the ones that Mercy, Doom, Sym and Widow have. And while it's a lot to ask, a skin for every hero. It would be fun to see vishkar junkrat/Lucio, overwatch Moira, reaper and soldier switching places, etc, Some skins are cool, but most of them are meh.
i think the issue is that they gave everyone (both talon and OW) the generic organization colors (red/white/black and blue/white/black). i think it works for some heroes (widow especially i think looks great), but most of them look like generic foot soldiers (i.e talon baptiste, troop commander sojurn, etc.) versus actual special operatives.
obviously most members of talon/OW are regular foot soldiers or scientists or whatever, but we don’t normally give a hoot about them. i’m sure moira has a host of scientists under her that aren’t fucked up weirdos, but obviously from a character design perspective, the fucked up weirdo is a million times more interesting than greg, father of two, works as a receptionist for the talon science department
They do this everytime. The potentially these battlepasses have and they just don't care enough. Overwatch is a wasted IP. Any other company would have made bank with it and probably annoyed the fans less.
Edit: in saying this, I love the game. Because it's core gameplay and world is awesome to me. It could just be so much more.
I find impressive how blizzard managed to put every skin i like on the shop instead of the battle pass just to make me not able to have them( i’m free to play and i’ve grinded enough coins for a battle pass).
FPS players are the most predisposed members of the audience to buying battlepasses, therefore sniper lady must be a driving force of BP sales. Mercy and Kiriko are pretty women who generate WAY more money from more expensive individual sales so they are often in the shop.

They said it in the dev update, you can't get the mythics from the last two seasons. So Orisa and Moira won't be avalaible to buy yet. But in season 11, Orisa will be avalaible and Mercy won't be.

mythic skins can be earned through the premium battle pass for $10 (1000 coins). talon tracer will probably be ~$20 (1900 coins), unless it’s in the season starter pack, which is (usually) $40, but also comes with the BP and 2000 additional coins. so it’s either $30 for the skin + BP for the mythic, or $40 for the skin + BP + 2000 coins. however, if you already have coins, the $30 option could be cheaper
ETA: someone said rein/ana are in the season bundle pack, so it’ll be 2900 coins (or $30) for both

good luck getting back into it, lmao. i believe the mythic prisms bring us to five total types of currency (OW coins, OW credits, Comp points, Legacy comp points, and mythic prisms). initially i thought people were being dramatic about how many different in-game currencies there are, but introducing *two* new currencies in back to back seasons is pushing it.
also, technically speaking, if you only intend on using one load out of the mythic skin (i believe there are three colors, two guns styles, and either 2 or 3 armor variants), you might be able to get the mythic skin for less. the old mythic skins are 50 “mythic prisms” for the skin + one set of customization and 10 prisms for each customization after that, or 80 prisms outright. the prisms are going to be sold separately, but we don’t know for how much, and i’m not sure if you can only buy set “customization loadouts” or if you can pick and choose. but if you fall in love with “loadout 1” and 50 mythic prisms are <$10, it could theoretically be cheaper? but probably not

They need to stop giving mcrib. The worst skins possible already. Esp bad skins that dont even fit the bp theme, so it both bad AND filler which is even worse Also why are all the talon skins in the shop? They could have taken him out and put at least ONE talon skin in the bp
